2r: FT bubble: pf AJs and min 3bet from BB reg ?

been playing with him (mtt reg several 100k winnings) for hours ... i avoided him, he pf raised a lot and i had position on him all the time .. so we havent really played many hands ..

he runs 36/24/12 over 210 hands .. he sees me as 14/11 nit we are down to 14 from over 1.5k plrs .. he significantly tightened up when losing some bigger pots over the last hour and really knows how to change gears, he played more agressively when he had a 100+bb stack.

i guess he must perceive me as nitty and my range as really strong ?
what does a min 3bet normally mean in a situation like that ? can i ever do anything than fold ?

I imagine that this is a misclick quite often.
I'm not r/folding this 9bb deep.

I'd ship. I'm just saying that a misclick is very possible. Your stats and position rep a big hand so there's no reason for him not to shove his last 8bb with monsters.

Really odd... Keep in mind too, even if misclicked, you just showed him you'll fold an UTG raise to a min 3bet... Obviously he should, and others, should min 3 bet you w 100% of calling ranges. I'm sure this isnt a common situation for you... but nonetheless...

honestly speaking i play a very tight agressive game and it never happened to me that ppl min 3bet me especially that deep in a tourney so i was really confused, tanked, used my timebank and then folded .. looking back i am stilll not sure if it might have been a good spot to chipup ..

I agree w BigVach still... This doesn't even seem right... Completely seems like a mistake. However, if this is intended I'd find it hard to believe this was weak at all... Having said that... With your numbers it seems overly creative... Really weird. I think it's one of those things... Fold is fine by me. I typically find in situations like this where I'm really confused, folding is the best plan of action. You don't come across this too much.

imo you can be sure. We can't fold a top 5% hand playing 9bb effective against 1 guy.

And I don't think anyone pointed out... our hand is suited! So we should have at least an 80% chance to win. So shove!

Completely agree after we opened... Was thinking we were deeper. Have almost 1/4 of stack in pot already... Impossible to open and fold. You're right for sure... Missed stack sizes second time around.
