Another close spot for sure.
If the players in the SB and BB weren't as short, I would probably shove this. However with them being short (BB only having 6k behind), I decided to fold a hand that is close to the bottom of my "usual" shoving range.
I don't think shoving would be a mistake at all, especially given that we are on the money bubble.

2. a little later, i like your icm shove w/ J9 + your comments about that. this is something which a lot of mmt'ers maybe dont pick up on.
3. aroun 29 mins. you call w/ 64 in the sb (closing the action w/ bb AI). you have around 16bbs iirc. i've always thought of these spots as shove/fold. would be interested in thoughts from OP (and others as with all of these questions) about that subject.
4. you 3-bet/call w/ AK rather than 3-bet shove with the eff. stack around 17bbs iirc. personally, i would shove here but welcome discussion on the merits of both, given the dynamic etc.
finally, look forward to reading more posts of yours as a lot of the concepts can be applied to the liveaments i regularly play which have pretty bad structures (could explain why i was nitty w/ my comments but the standard of play is pretty similar it would seem). cheers.

1. Yep, I think I would be getting the pot odds to iso vs a reg's range there.
3. Normally you'd be 100% correct (that this is a push/fold spot), but here I don't think it's too bad (given the pot odds, the villain on the BTN and the size of the side-pot between us). We only have to call 3k and there's 12k in the pot already. There will be a side-pot of 11k between us and the BTN and I thought he would be playing really straight-forward post-flop (folding when he doesn't hit a pair). I thought I could show a profit by completing pre and c-betting any flop.
4. As I said in the video, I think either will be fine. I chose to 3b/c rather than 3b/shove, for value. That is, to try and get the villain to 4bet or flat with hands that he would fold to a shove.

you ever thought of using the simplified deck rather than the standard one? it's kinda hard to read, took me a while to realize that you're valuebetting a straight w/ 82 and not 62 which seemed kinda weird until I finally noticed when the chips went your way.

Heh, sorry. I've got a pretty big monitor, so it's never been an issue for me.

I think a lot of the concepts covered will be, yeah. The main difference is that in 45-mans, ICM will affect your decision-making a lot more (due to the flatter pay-out structure).
