I hate being a calling station but I felt like this is what I was doing in this hand. Villain seems like a reg playing 17/14/16. I can't really think of any other way of playing this hand but I'd like to hear your thoughts.

Could reraise flop and commit. With 2 overs and fd you're likely ahead.

Yeah that's a good spot for a flop raise. It doesn't hit his range so you could get missed Ax hands to fold. And you'll find yourself getting deeper into a tough spot if you call, miss the turn, and he leads (which is exactly the spot you were in). So I raise flop and get it in if he 3bets. If he calls your raise and then checks to you, then you can shove the turn.

However, given your stack size the raise size is important here. You don't want to make a large rase and up with a small shove on the turn that villain has to call. So I think the best play is a small flop raise followed by a bigger turn shove. If you raise to say 2100 and villain calls and checks the turn, you're set up for a turn shove that is just a bit less than pot sized.

perfect spot for a semi bluff OTF and GII if they shove. Agreed sizing with the semi bluff is important to want to set up close to a PSB OTT

I understand the comments but are we raising with all flush draws? That seems a bit much compared to what we'd be raising for value.

This might be the trigger for me to buy flopzilla and have a mess around with trying to construct ranges for spots like this.

You ARE raising for value here as you are ahead against single pair hands.

Given this particular board I'd be tempted to say yes.
