Villain is very loose old player who love to c/r and donk.

I have pretty tight image.

Blinds 800/1600+200
Hero (90000) MP+2 with JTo opens for 4000, villain on sb calls and bb calls. Flop came J89r SB checks, BB checks and hero bets 8000, sb c/r for 17000. What's best hero's line there?

with your reads i'd shove over their check raise. Although this is dependent on how much in the past they were check raising. Their check raise here seems uber strong due to how small it is, if it was std sizing tho, i def ship it in.

that's live so not much hands ie not much reads. What I've see guy contemplating over call some time and then insta checkraised.

I have history with him like he limped UTG I made 3000 on 400/800+100 level with KK on CO, and he called and c/r my 5000 cbet to 15000, on 9JQss flop. I called turn came 5s check/check and river A and check/check and he showed J9o. btw - how good is this played?

So it's hard to say but if he is strong there (2pair/set/str8/TPTK/2ndPTK?) what our way through this hand (JT) can we fold there? There's not way to call IMO.

depending on how deep i am on the Qj9 board i could easily see a shove here being more +EV then a call. im very very very rarely calling here tho, vs most live villains Fold>shove>call.

In the first hand if his stack is similar to yours and you feel his hand is weighted to bigger J's then u can def call and either steal the turn or bink the turn. im prolly raising their c/r and to like 42k. and calling if they shove.

thanks protential.

on qj9 board I had like 105k and villain got me covered with like 150
about fold - isn't it way too weak because of a lot of draws there and we have like 6 outs to pretty good hands

Are sure that fold > shove? and why?

about JT hand - he have similar stack, may be little bit larger. so what do you think - call and shove to check/call shove is > ev then shove here? What's hidden potential of rr for 42k?

Akimka what do you think about check behind the flop in JTo hand?
Would it be a bad play?

This line have merits, I think I would be able to call one street (turn) but in 3way pot I really do not like to give free cards to a lot of possible holdings that I beat now (KQ/AT/A9/AQ/AK)...
