What a great deal! What a great deal!

06-11-2015 , 07:56 PM
I just got a 20% extra up to $100 casino bonus!

All I have to do is wager 35 times the sum of my deposit and the bonus in the next 48 hours to unlock the bonus cash!

How could I go wrong?

Don't want to rain your parade, but depending on the game, rake alone could be more than the bonus. That's if you completed it. Kappa

And yes .. I know you were being sarcastic.

This is for the literal people who wander into this thread

Well both points and bonuses are at least incredibly disappointing on this site.

Bonuses are poorly designed, like the one pointed out by the OP. And most expire worthless.

And there's not a good way to accumulate points enough for the best items in the PP store. That is, unless you are one of that select group of colluders that populates certain cash games. But even they can't get that many points, because they wait for their sucker and then the game breaks.

i usually wait till i level up and waste my points on tickets, only leveled up through casino sadly not poker. poker i wouldnt b able to hit silver ever.

i have incredibly bad luck consistently on this site playing above 5$ mtt level so much so ive even given up bothering with the cheap satellites. its not worth it to blow 50$ repeatedly when i dont even have the illusion of a chance. personally i wish i had simply taken that money and went to play live with it at least then i'd get to have some fun for my $$$

i keep an open mind and ive considered that time an time and again. work on it very much too. i dont expect to always run good though it would be nice. bad luck, fate, destiny karma, not my day, bad calls, whatever,- it could be anything.

by now i know when ive made bad calls or took unwise chances and im not ashamed to admit it after all thats how you improve is by acknowledging your flaws and weaknesses. playing the 50$ level isnt anything stressfull to me like its going to bankrupt me or a huge deal to lose it. its just a fact for me at that level for whatever reason i simply have repeated bad luck experiences which dont vary all that much. but thats me. those who do run good at that levl and have ifferent experiences hey im truly glad for you

sorry for briefly pulling this thread off topic

Word, I know how you feel trust me. But in the end, once you see similar if not worse beats live, in real life, you'll understand it's out of your control, and part of the game/process., couldn't you say the same thing about life?

ive played live many times

I agree that the PP store is pretty limited but could you speak a bit more about the collusion comment?

It's no secret that the only way to earn points in large quantities is through cash games, and even levels as low as 100NL rarely run on here. So most real games are squeezed down to 50NL.

So it's not unusual for a bunch of "friends" to sit down on one of the higher stakes cash tables and just fold out to each other. Then when you sit it's raise / re-raise / all-in every hand you are in. You do the math.

And believe me, when you do finally get it in and they crack you with their Q4, the game breaks pretty soon after.

I feel like a heel for even having to explain this on this forum. YMMV.

I would play 200NL and 400NL every single day if I didn't think that the higher stakes cash games on this site have zero integrity.

??? 100NL probably runs 16-18 hrs in a given day.

I have not seen this happen. I'm not saying it never has, but I watch a decent amount of the action 400NL and up and haven't seen anything like it. Most strong regs seem fearful or at least leery of playing against each other sans a weaker player present; that's just how the poker environment works these days. But you're suggesting that they are soft playing against each other in wait for fish, so they can then collude in bullying the weaker player? Sorry, I just don't see that at all.

I just think that's an awfully bold claim to make. Zero integrity, really?

maybe ghost keeps missing getting a seat at the full 100nl tables everyday so is at the mercy of trying to land another one. idk 100nl i wouldnt dream of playing online

My claims while bold are based on actual experience. I have played cash games as my primary game for years and have had no problem other places. Since regulated online poker came back to NJ, I have switched completely to low stakes tournaments / SnGs / etc for a strange mix of games. Every once in a while I will play cash but not really above $50 NL. Just because $100NL games run does not make them real games. YMMV. Look closely.

Maybe the mix has changed since I tried these games before. If they are better, then great. But just because you haven't seen something / noticed it, that does not mean it isn't happening.

For what it's worth I noticed $5/$10 running on 888 tonight and the action seemed real to me. I hadn't looked in a while and was frankly surprised action that high is running in the summer when many full time grinders are in Vegas.

$100 and $200 NL are usually the best games on many online sites. $400NL is usually where it starts to get tougher. Maybe it's due to the liquidity here, but I find these games to be suspect at best.

pretty sure he's just joking saying you're that player. If you're not familiar with that user, just carry on. LOL

Let's keep this simple. Are you taking a personal shot at poorme, or are you inferring that he is a particular player ?

I would not be surprised if such was the former; for this would not be your first rodeo.

Now be honest and answer the question; then answer why.
