unable to install PP software unable to install PP software

Last year i had partypoker and borgata installed, then i started having white blank pages on both and uninstalled the software. After that i haven't been able to install it again, i have been playing on the browser but im getting feed up with that and today wanted to give it another try at installing unsuccessfully
Im running windows 8

I sent my issue on an email to customer support and did what they suggest me to fix the problem... then i called and the person on the other line had no idea how to help me.

I will attach the info and a pic, maybe someone from the community can help me

I understand that you are having trouble trying to install the party poker software. I am sorry for the inconvenience caused.
This happens because you already have the party poker software installed in a particular folder on your computer and when you try to re-install the software then by default it would get installed in the same folder. So for the software to work properly you either have to install in different location or just remove all the folders related to party poker on your computer and then do a clean re-installation.
Please follow these steps to resolve this issue.
First of all, uninstall the NJ Poker software:

1. Click on 'Start' at the bottom left corner of your screen.
2. Click on “Control Panel”.
3. Click on “Programs”, click on “Programs and Features”
3. Scroll down and select the “nj.partypoker” software icon.
4. Select 'Uninstall' on the Top.

Then, please delete the folder “partyNJ “ folder from Programs
For Windows 7:
1. Click on 'Start' at the bottom left corner of your screen.
2. Click on “Computer” and then double click on “C drive”.
3. Double click on “Programs” then right click on “partyNJ “ folder and delete.
( For Windows XP  C:\Program Files\ partyNJ)
Remove the temporary files:
1. Click on Start, Type “%temp%”. Click on “Temp”
2. Select all the files under this folder and delete.
After the above procedure, please perform a Disk Cleanup:

1. Close all the programs.
2. Click on Start and Type “Disk Cleanup”. Click on “Disk Cleanup”
3. After the disk cleanup is done, you will be taken back to the desktop.
( For Windows XP: Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click Disk Cleanup , select the C drive and click ok)

Finally, please download the NJ poker software by following the below steps:
1. Go to the website “www.nj.partypoker.com”.
2. Click on “Play Now” on the top right hand side.
3. Then click on the first option “Download our software”.
4. Click on “Run” to install the software.

Hi,

May we suggest you again completely uninstall the programs for both Party and Borgatta – basically follow the steps above for both- not just for Party. It will help to remove both partypoker.NJ and Borgatta software in full.

Then clear your temp folder - and re-install only one file at a new location.
When re installing try c:\programfiles\partyNJ1 when the installer opens on screen (this creates a new location not the same as used previously)

This should resolve your issue

I'm terrible with computers, so I called customer service.

The rep was awesome. It took about 20 min, but someone can help you.

after few times i was able to install on another folder.
But now there is another issue... cant see half of the text once I open the software

I wonder how many times they gonna ask me to do the same thing before they understand it NOT working......

I have done new clean install like a hundred times within the past year

c. Open 'Computer' and browse to "C:\Programs\", then delete "PartyGaming" folder

To reinstall the software:
Please click on the link given below and click on "Play Now" to download the software: www.partypoker.com > Click on "Run" and the file would be downloaded to a temp location and in case you get a confirmation dialogue; please click "Run" again.
> After the software has downloaded, the installer will appear and guide you through the installation process. You will be asked to select the 'Language' and then you will be shown a screen which says 'PartyPoker set-up continued.........'
> On that screen please click on 'I agree' and the software will be installed automatically.

are you serious now????
so your tech team have all the time and knowledge to know what i do on my computer... but you cant figure out whats wrong with your software, that really makes sense

Im gonna do ALL the steps with screenshots and then im gonna wait whats your next "advise"
