Just a public service announcement, this surprised me tonight.

I registered for a 1k GTD 6 max and realized it wasn't turbo (10 minute blind levels) and didn't want to tie up my whole night, so I tried to unregister, but the button was missing from my UI.

I contacted live chat and they told me tournament unregistration is unavailable within 15 minutes of a tournament starting.

I get that they are struggling to meet guarantees and have a small player pool, but this feels very sneaky to me, and I wasn't happy to hear about the policy.

Thought I'd make a post to inform others while I slow grind this tournament.

I thought it used to be 10 minutes for no more unregistration, but I could simply be remembering it wrong.

Today they got me too. Oh well.

This has always been this way, although I agree with you. It seems pretty silly that you're locked into playing a tourney once you are reg'd within 15 min of start. No reason this should not be changed.
