Hey guys, I played in Borgata Online Poker. Suddenly they blocked my account and asked a picture of me holding a valid ID to unblock it. Did it ever happen to anyone? and Do you think it is legal and right? Here's the excerpt of their message:

"Note that our security team has placed your account on hold. We will need to verify your account.

For that purpose, our security team needs you to send us a self certified ID, meaning a picture of yourself holding your driver's license, making sure that the information on the driver's license is legible."

thats strange, but I'm not sure I would be concerned if it were "legal or right" I'd probably just do it and settle the matter.

That's because you aren't playing on someone else's account.

Hi,

Our Security team may request a Self Certified ID for a variety of reasons. This is a standard practice. If you would like to provide me with your username via private message I can look into the matter for you.

Thanks,

Dave
