Poker Application Changes
iOS: Connector update for iOS8

iOS8 was released by Apple mid of September and requires an update of the iOS connector. Existing iOS connector is not fully compatible with iOS8 due to the following issue: iOS app may crash on iOS8 after user gets disconnected (e.g., WIFI off), and then tries to re-login into the app.

iOS and Android: Single SNG Registrations on Mobile

Current mobile Poker client supports single table only. As a result, users should only be allowed to register for one SNG tournament at a time, to avoid situations where two SNG tournaments start simultaneously but user can only play in one (and would lose the buy-in on other SNGs). Therefore, SNG registration flow has been adapted on mobile clients, to allow only registrations for one SNG tournament.

Existing handling of special cases regarding multiple SNG registrations are not affected by this change (i.e., if multiple registrations are done on Windows client before switching to iOS/Android apps, users will be asked to chose which SNGs to play or unregister).

iOS Lobby Bugfix

There is a minor UI issue in v2.14.0 of Partypoker iOS app: When scrolling down in table list, filter moves up as intended but is not hidden behind the top bar (see images on blog post). This issue is fixed with current version.

iOS: Bet Slider Wheel Sensitivity Bugfix

Sensitivity of the bet slider wheel on iOS is too high: a small swipe down results in a large bet amount in terms of big blinds. Thus, small bet sizes related to the size of the pot (e.g., 2.5BB pre-flop raise, 1/3 pot-size bet, etc.) are hard to select. We have adapted sensitivity of the bet slider wheel to behave the same way as on Android.
