Jkidd your thread is filled with such burning negativity. Thus, I'm assuming that's why the volume of feedback you've received has been rather minimal.

Most of us posses the loyalty mechanism. Some more than others quite obviously.

Yes party poker has their flaws, but they have been very helpful & compensating to many of their complaining players.

Again, I do respect your passion & energy , but I'm rather suspicious that your disloyalty to many business in your circle is similar to your disloyalty to party poker.

For most of us, we use party poker as our pastime & playground when were not fighting through our real lives. I love party poker & it's getting to the point where your beginning to make me feel the desires to defend my fun past time to a higher degree.

I'm not here for a controversy or verbal dispute by any means. I love all walks of life, but you may be crossing some of the genuine loyalists out there.
I'm not trying to discourage you from enjoying your past time. I'm simply providing facts in an effort to discourage people from giving business to a very unworthy company. Unlike most, I have actually dealt with these people in person. I have been to their office. I have been out with them socially. I have seen how they operate, and it is quite simply disgusting that they are allowed to still run a "regulated" business. Party has never taken care of their customers or showed any concern. I'm not talking just Party NJ either. Party in general, for years. The stories and threads are endless.

If you didn't see all of the thread, I suggest you look back. I have a hard time seeing people defend a site that straight up lies to their customers in public statements when they do something wrong. In the words of the head guy (since fired) of Party NJ, Party world wide recognized that they made a mistake and told them to "wait a few days to see if it blows over" first before deciding if they should give players what they deserved. They actually hired someone whose entire job description is to damage control on forums because it has gotten that bad. The chat logs are all posted throughout this thread.

When PS gets to NJ, play on there for a week and then let me know how long Party stays installed on your computer =)

Vercetti, I don't understand how you can disregard all the crashes, and connection issues. Seeing that you multi-table, getting disconnected in a big hand is a nightmare, and then restarting costs $ by waiting until the blinds come around etc. In the last 24 hours the connectivity has been horrible. As of right now, I can't play more than one hand on any table without a freeze. Other established sites never had issues like this. Yes, I have been refunded some money when I have complained, but it's not nearly enough for all the hands that have been compromised, and having to argue about the hands each time is wearing me down.

You might object to Jkidd's whining etc, but I've been in the top 20 grinder points since they implemented it, so I've put in a lot of hours using it. Even when it is running 'fine', the software crashes once an hour. In fact, I also get frequent crashes / freezes within the first 10 minutes. The software sucks!

Right now, the quality of service, support, software rates a D, maybe a C on a good day.

Just wanted to repost this, as it is accurate to my situation, down to the crashes in the first 15 minutes for an unexplained reason. I had loyalty towards PS when they were around because they never had problems like this, and when they did have problems that affected their customers, they fixed them and compensated the players. Its been nearly 3 weeks and I can't get my hand history from PP support...

Also, remember that fix that was supposed to be implemented on Jan 5th to stop the crashes? It kept getting delayed and now you haven't heard about it for a while? When I spoke with their software support people, it was clear they didn't know what the issue was and were not close to a solution.

What do they have to say about that email that said it had been fixed, which was clearly wrong since they never even updated the software? Just a "mistake" that it didn't magically fix itself?

Management seems to be taking the route..."Well people are still playing on the site, especially during the GSSS, so let them complain, but we are still making a bottom line." Their inactions also seems to be a blatant arrogance to think this will blow over, the smoke will clear, and people will keep playing on their site. They are in no rush because they still are making money even off the people disconnecting, because they know we will keep playing.

I don't think they realize nor care the severity of the issues because no one goes to the DGE, and they still had optimal traffic during the GSSS.

My fav excuses by support...

1. It is your ISP.

2. We have no issues on our server side.

3. We are sorry.

4. We are working hard on it and expect a fix very soon.

Number 4 is interesting because they admit their is an issue, but are unwilling to do anything for all the players that have been affected by the issue because it would cost them more $$$. Their line seems to be once again that us suckers will keep playing and this will blow over. Im starting to lose my patience and loyalty for PP.

Am i seeing this right that there are 4 pages less then yesterday in this topic? or is the 2+2 website playing tricks on me? i am not on any drugs or consumed any alcohol, in case you are wondering.

I'm confused as much as you are. There were 7 pages. This thread was brewing. I was intrigued. I'm out now, all the good stuff is gone.

The Op dude jkidd must have had drinks with mr Forum boss guy as well.

A well beside the fact that i feel bad for the players in the state they have to deal with those either incompetent or uninterested [or both] people from party poker, it is luckily far from my bed[sorry no pun or troll intended] but it was interesting for a while, but like 99,9% of these kind of cases, protests it dies down, and the sites know it, and count on it, and are almost always right, we all are individuals after all, and it shows in so many of this cases and others[me no exception i have to say in all honesty].

There were several complaints sent to have comments removed to the moderators - this was due to derailing the issue at hand.
I gather they actioned this request yesterday.

Thanks

Ah they are still alive, but how was the meeting with mike de gilio he was promised?, or was he after some thought to much trouble and pp did not see any positive outcome for their self, so the big "ignore them they will go away after some time" play was played?, or did you pay him off in some way, since he is not seen here for some time[sorry mike if not, but it does happen] and is a common tactic in the way party poker does business.
You people[the party poker owners/board] should be ashamed of yourself, you do take the people's money, but you don't give them all what they payed for? and you can't say you are new to this business, so it must be a matter of not want to spend the money that it takes to do it right, but he party poker knows how to lose a big amount of customers to other poker-sites that did know[then but not anymore now]how to give the costumers what they paid for, and that was a big part because of GREED was it not?[correct me if i am wrong] and see!!! there we got a pattern! greed cost you a lot of traffic in the past, and being cheap is screwing a lot of your costumers now, you people must be very proud of your way of doing business, but greed seem to be the pastern here, and yes being cheap is a form of greed too, so therefore the pattern, a disgrace in business is what party-poker is now a days, very sad, very sad indeed.

Party has given me nothing. I gave them all the information and proof that they requested from me a year ago. They clearly never even bothered to look into it. That Shawn Manuola person never followed through with the meeting that they requested. I've never received a penny or explanation. They simply don't care at all. They also monitor these forums like a hawk and have done nothing about anything that anyone has posted.

This is the entirety of their response. Still waiting on them to "revert back in the near future". I guess they are "still working" on all the issues..

Yep that is what the do they just ignore you away, and it was nothing personal about pp "getting "you, but it does happen as you may know, bribery is not below them at all i think.

Are you still playing there?

No. I stopped playing like 9 months ago and just randomly played some of those GSSS events last Sunday. Got blinded off and had Party publicly blame Verizon for it. Last time, they blamed Optimum. I hope all these recent DGE complaints has them look into them, because what they are doing can't possibly be legal. It's disgraceful that they are still able to operate. Nice little reminder of why I hadn't played in so long, and will never put money on the site again.

Isn't there any consumer-agency or some gambling-commission that you can send complaints too, for not getting where you pay for and/or their product is not worth the money, and get compensation, it should not be that much work to do that, and maybe get more people to do that?
Here in Holland i have done that with some site that provided card games[Dutch games, low stakes about 2.50 euro a game max ], and i kept being disconnected[proven their fold] and lose games.
I took some form from the internet and downloaded it, and send it to them and about 30 other people did the same together with some logs and got compensated and the disconnects did not happen anymore, and all it took was some stamps and a computer guy for the logs[my nephew]
It took i heard later some software, that was pretty expensive, they did not wanted to invest in, but it was that or shut down, or no more money games.
I don't know if that is possible in the US, and if you thought of doing something like that, but i thought i mention it, sometimes there are more ways to skin a cat right?.

The state of NJ has the DGE which oversees all gaming activity. They have been linked many times on this forum. They are, by all accounts, one of the top gaming regulators in the world. So if there was a litany of complaints about an operator, I suspect they would put a lot of pressure on them.

Having said that, things may work differently here. I don't know how much confidence people have in being compensated for these crashes. I think that would require legal action in the US. DGE does not usually go to that level, at least to my knowledge. And while they may fine PartyPoker (if they even came to the conclusion that there was culpability on their part) I am not sure that would result in any direct benefit to the players who have suffered the most from these problems.

Aha qk, well it is easier i suppose in a small country like mine, but if you pay as a consumer for some services and the services is not at all good and repeatably not good provided, then i suppose it is a consumer issue as well?, or is dge the only one that can take action? over gambling company's.
I guess that bundling the complaints is very difficult, because as usual most people complain but if they have to do something they don't, and that is how company's like party poker get away with it.

so then this forum is to inform other poker players and sicuss happenings and free speech but then the money bag corporation gets some bad rap cuz truth comes out and then somehow gets things adjusted by the moderators very fast to cover their own butts.

how much did party pay for that. ooh maybe its special permission and favors cuz they sponsor a thread about themselves.

money talks

jkidd whatever happened with the nj department of gaming. did you ever get any resolution from them?

its nice to think they're watching over us players but with the corruption in jersey politics and this thread being so vastly edited so quickly apparantly.

cant you file a lawsuit? seems u have plenty of proof of some stuff that validates my own experiences/sufferings/suspicions about their practices. cant say i know what was in all of this thread tho as much of it was edited out

cant we all file a class action lawsuit of some kind for deceptive practices , shady operations, bait and switch. or something else? lmao im no lawyer obviously many of us have had problem with them bewteen everybody im sure there is more than enough proof of something shady going on. aside from them spending thousands a week to pay some people to censor AB and other ridiculous things that r no way near offensive. wouldnt it be cheaper to just put a disclaimer somewhere saying "warning potentially foul language even with our censors" and call it a day

what about reposting into a section that wasnt sponsored by party poker so they cant bully the mods to edit it out.

i think everybody with an issue should file a complaint and if it doesnt get taken care of and is legit and proper then should file a complaint with nj department of gaming. at least then theyd be forced to take more action by sheer volume of complaints.

they constantly blame players for glitches in some way shape or form and put the blame on others too in many ways and then profit because of them. NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE REPORT THEM their software shouldnt glitch once you register in an SNG. not let you unregister then do nothing to help you unregister. it shouldnt glitch when u unregister from a tourney and not credit your account back then give you the run around with emails every couple of weeks until you give up. even if u couldnt prove it from our end because as we ALL KNOW THE SOFTWARE DOESNT WORK HOW THEY SWEAR IT DOES FROM OUR END, as the records and transaction histories are often incomplete from our end. HOWEVER IF ENOUGH OF US FILE PROPER COMPLAINTS ABOUT IT WHEN IT DOES HAPPEN AND NOTHING IS DONE TO RESOLVE IT THE THE NJ DGE HAS NO CHOICE but to get further involved. im sure every complaint to the nj DGE gets looked into and vary how much attention they get.

think about it how many times because of a glitch was 1$ or maybe even more gone missing from your account in which unless you had access from their end to their records and accounting could you prove a t$ or two or three wasnt credited bck to your account when u unregistered from a tourney because of how much action u havve going. ever look through their statements stuff in the my account and the $ histories they make available to us through the software on our end?
I KNOW SEVERAL CPA'S who cant even make full sense out of those records but customer service swears we can see the same things they can yet cant even tell you what proper tab to go to just to start looking for some info.
WHY IS IS THAT LAST SUMMER YOU COULD SEE AN ITEMIZED BREAKDOWN OF ALL YOUR TICKETS INCLUDING HOW MANY OF EACH RESPECTIVE TICKET YOU HAVE YET AFTER AN UPDATE SUDDENLY YOU COULDNT and now all you can see is total number of tickets. then you look at my tickets under tickets tab switch the filter you can see the inactive tickets but never a breakdown of say as an example how many of those 10 tickets you have are 1$ tickets, 5$ tickets, DSSS tickets, or unused tickets to say the mission freerolls they no longer have but are still listed as inactive but counted in your active tickets total. so unless u keep a written log from some point in time of the days times you won a ticket and what value and when you have used a ticket YOU HAVE NO WAY OF KNOWING IF ONE OR TWO OF THOSE 5$ OR 1$ TICKETS HAVE DISSAPpEARED. you have to do the accounting yourself just to be able to keep track of how many tickets you actually have and of what value because from our point of view we cant access n itemized listing for ourselves. instead we have to contact customer service to know. yet you contact customer service and one person one day will tell you oh you can see that by going here here and here and u say u cant then they dont get back. on another ay the same person will say im sorry but currently u cant, yet another day later will say swear u can etc
if enough of us file complaints from some of the so called glitches, user error, problems that are legitimate concerns that get blown off by party poker reps, to something like the nj department of gaming then regardless of whether or not we get resolution from our individual issue we all win because it forces them (party) to shape up or ship out. and any potential political leniency being given will surely be pressured to be exposed if action isnt taken. i mean it takes 5 minutes to send an email to party not even and then only what a few minutes more once they blow you off to file with the NJ DGE while they look into it.
REMEMBER THE NJ DGE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ENSURING THE BUSINESS PRACTICES AND SOFTWARE ARE FAIR FOR THE ONLINE POKER SITES AND CASINOS IN NJ. THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO MAKE SURE THE SITES AREN'T GLITCHING PEOPLE OUT OF MONEY EVEN IF IT IS ONLY A FEW BUCKS HERE AND THERE its still about tax dollars and tax revenue and remember violations even with conduct means more tax revenue in fines
thats the whole reason pokerstars got delayed their license supposedly because they werent convinced some of the players involved werent shady, or met their conditions of being straight edged enough.

This is a catch-22. I know enough about the law to know the following:
1. Even those who have a legitimate grievance may have many good reasons for not wanting to / being able to file a lawsuit
2. Filing a lawsuit is expensive and even those who have the time / means may simply not find it worth their time and money.
3. I strongly advise nobody to discuss any specific possible legal actions anywhere on the internet. Because anything you say on the internet is in the public domain, and can actually hurt your case in ways you cannot predict.

We can all guess that Jkidd did not get much of a resolution, if any. That's because he sometimes comes back to post about his experiences long after he has stopped playing as a regular on this site. That's the actions of a salty man, not one who has had his concerns addressed.
