The "Away" feature does not work.

Let me be more specific. Knowing I need to get up and step away, sometimes I will click "Away" or if I have multiple tables open "Fold and Post Blinds At All Tables." Then I go into the other room and hear the beeping to indicate it's my move! (I have nightmares about that beeping at this point)

After I rush back and manually fold myself out, then it goes into "Away" mode for the next hand. WTH!!!!!!????!!!!!

And as a side note, sometimes when I return and click that I'm back, it folds me out anyway! This is literally like we are playing poker in "opposite land."

As many people who play poker, I work in the tech field. There's no way this software didn't have some beta testing. I don't know how this problem was missed, but it's a big one and it needs to be fixed FAST.

Finally, I would have posted this in the "suggestions" thread, but Party_Rep has not posted in that thread in a LONG time. It would be helpful if we could get some kind of review and acknowledgment of the points raised in the suggestions thread.

This is literally the most basic feature one could hope for. It's bad enough I have to hear whiners complain about players who are away because they clearly have been disconnected. How many times have I had my reserve time burned up because even though I click away, it still times me down as if I am at the table!

I hope others will bump this, because I get to hear the complaints constantly that the games move too slow. Fixing this problem will speed them up.

When you have your table changed, it also doesn't remember if you have selected the "away" setting and it times you out.

It would be good if this could be fixed to save wasted time and time bank.

It would also be good if somebody could post a reply here.

Also, if you click "away" when you go on break, it doesn't register until it has timed you out for one hand.

I can't believe that I am the only person who has noticed these problems. This is the most annoying and basic problem with the current software.

Man it was a LONG time ago that I brought this up. And sadly, this is still an issue.

Somehow it surprises me that the number of people who complained about "over-tanking" strangely died down here. But this was a problem then and it's a problem now.

What operating system are you using, and is this only on cash games?

yep seen that recently and sometime last year issue is still around. sometimes i have noticed that it works when it wants to without logic. guess you can call that one "act of God" lol maybe thats what party chalksthe glitches up to

personally i dont play at party anywhere near as much as i used to (less than 95%) ive moved the majority of my money elsewhere until im not really sure when.

party has lost its appeal to me finally somehow. thats saying much cuz the 100-200$ i was making monthly from them really made a huge difference for me. ive accepted it- they simply dont care, and they simply dont use the feedback they have properly.

i hope pokerstars gets here soon but at this point im not holding my breath anymore. thats just ****ed up corrupt jersey politics delaying them now for whatever reason

i get it sporadically using windows 8.1 , never had the problem with cash games just mtt's but mostly i figure when i start im not moving till a break cuz it has cost me a ton.

luckily i do play on a laptop so there is some range of movement for me to get around having to hit away

I have used the software on all different versions of Windows (8, 7, Vista ...) and had this problem. I kind of guessed this was a global issue. But to be honest, I never played long enough to see this on Mac. Don't know if that means it doesn't happen on Mac at all, but it's worth testing.

Also note, this problem seems to come up more in MTTs because of the forced table changes.

I have a Macbook. I've never had an issue. However I havent been able to play in Heads Up MTT because I have a macbook lol. sigh. its a give and take relationship.
