I can respect your opinion on this.

The reality is this is just a marketing thing. We should not take it personally. New management is trying new things.

And many people will not join just because it's Facebook. Not sure they realize that. There are enough stalkers on here as it is. Do you really want to give them your real name and a list of your friends and family, just to play in a freeroll?

Its a freeroll for the members only - if you don't join you can not play

I highly value the community's insights
Apologies if you feel your comments are ignored. I continue to review and raise valid feedback with the correct team and feedback when need be.

Being disrespectful and trolling the rep is the nut low.

We greatly appreciate your efforts Collette. And before they had a dedicated person, it was much harder communicating with the company. So thank you.

I can't speak for the OP, but I do not think he was trying to be disrespectful towards you. I think he was expressing the frustration many feel with the company, not necessarily yourself.

And now everybody should be aware that people need to be on Facebook in order to join the freeroll. Thank you for letting us know.

yes let me clarify collette. the company doesnt seem to care about this forum and the input from it. i wasnt trying to put you down personally.

many have seen your efforts and do know youve been a huge help to some. its very sad still that issues seem to get faster resolution when posting on a forum vs talking to cs/ management directly.

Now this is something worth highlighting.

If management appears to distance themselves from their customer base, for whatever reason, it should be a warning sign of perhaps a more serious set of issues unbeknownst to the majority of the player base at this time.

Unfortunately, this is not unique to any one provider and won't necessarily be resolved with the introduction of new competitors to the space. If anything, this may further segment the market and create an entirely new set of problems.

In order for online poker to thrive in a market with limited growth potential both the companies and the players need to reevaluate expectations and adapt to the ever changing landscape. It has been 2 years or so, and we as players need to realize the impetus for advancement and growth just may not exist at this time. The poker ecosystem in NJ is what it is , and will likely remain as such for the near-future. With that being said, perhaps we need to embrace the limitations, to a degree, and allow the process to run it's course.

An increased social media presence will only help grow the market. Despite the fact I am not a Facebook user I hope this group takes off and introduces regulated NJ online poker to some new players.

This is a very good point. It is still amazing how many people in NJ do not realize that these sites are regulated and legal here, despite a hefty marketing spend by all the companies. Maybe that's the thought behind moving more visibility to Facebook.

If it brings new players then I am all for it.
