the real problem here is that players have to fight in the first place for money that is rightfully theirs!

What about the significant segment of your market that doesn't post on 2p2 and P5s? What about the recreational players who aren't savvy enough to understand that they should be fighting for money that was literally stolen from them?

Those people all are **** out of luck because you guys ****ed up? This issue goes further than people sending you e-mails and you (maybe/probably not adequately) compensating those players only.

This is not the first time you guys have blew it. It probably won't be the last. Why should players have any confidence going forward that PartyPoker will do better next time?

No player should EVER have to fight for their own money.

Hi Everyone,
All affected tournaments in GSSS V were paid out to the guaranteed amount. Over $332,350 was returned to players. In addition to this amount, we issued adjustments to players that were refunded according to the tournament cancellation policy in an amount less than the tournament buy-in.
Today, we have provided refunds of the buy-in amount for players of the affected events for any player that was eliminated from the tournament during the affected time period. This has resulted in us returning an additional $22k in buy ins players.
Our process still requires further analysis into the stack sizes before players were unable to play and if you feel that your situation hasn’t been adequately addressed, please reach out to customer support and we will look into your claim as a priority.
Regards,
Dave

I contacted support and sent screenshots from phone and poker tracker because I had blinded out of the 1k before the tournament was stopped and received no refund. About 24 hours later i got a refund for my buy-in.

I received a refund less than the buy in amount and it has not been adjusted. I also contacted customer support two days ago as I lost over 3/4 of my stack during the time I was unable to play. I still have not received any response back. Can you help Dave?

Hi -

I spoke to CS the day that the refunds were issued because I was disputing the amounts based on stack sizes. I was told I would receive an e-mail to resolve the issue. Nothing still.

Dont hold your breath on being compensated correctly even when you do hear back. They seem to be picking and choosing with no rhyme or reason who is being additionally compensated. Both myself and at least one other person have been denied additional refunds already and I lost over 15k chips during the time I was disconnected in the main. I was paid out based on a 31k stack and had over 46k when disconnected. Others have been given additional refunds though who have disputed their stack size, some lost more, some lost less chips.

Its one thing to not additionally compensate anyone, but to pick and choose people with no apparent reason is appalling. I have emailed support again saying this and how it is not correct, but I dont expect anything to change in their response.

this is the same old bs i expect from partypoker. sadly it seems to be an industry standard at the legal nj pokersites though i do have more faith in pokerstarsnj so far but i am wary about PS from the way they treat their ROW customers.

I will say this - pokerstars failed to credit me one of the tickets it was supposed to credit me on time and so i missed the target tournament. I complained to CS via email - at first they were unhelpful, but then ultimately I got someone who understood how they screwed up and he sent me a $ tournament ticket to compensate. I pointed out that the EV of the freeroll ticket was actually about $15 higher than the tourney ticket and he insta-called and sent me a ticket for the balance of the EV.

Not saying pokerstars is perfect, but they were alerted to a problem THEY CAUSED and then they did right by me as a customer by resolving it fully and fairly. Bottom line, I'm satisfied with their CS so far because given the chance to do right, they did it.

This Party/Borgata nonsense is terrible and everyone is rightfully complaining and should continue to do so and let them know that not only will this behavior not stand, but that their competitors are out-competing them in every way.

I will say I just had my situation handled, and was compensated correctly. PM the TeamPartyPoker on P5's if anyone is still having an issue.

Wanted to post up my personal update:

after PMing with Party_RepNJ he was able to expedite the resolution of my refund. They were able to find out the exact discrepancies in my refund amounts and he was able to call me and explain the one final dispute in my numbers vs. their numbers.
