The cancelation policy is as follows: http://nj.partypoker.com/how-to-play...nts/rules.html

Eliminated players at the time of cancellation will not be refunded their buy-in or entry fee

Players still in the tournament will be refunded the amount that would have been awarded to the next player to be eliminated from the tournament. 50% of the remaining prize pool will be distributed equally between the remaining players, and 50% will be distributed on a percentage basis according to each player's chip count. Yes, cash refund in my account. At least they are doing their best to make things right. I will still have a hard time coming back to the site.
09-14-2014 , 08:56 PM
What about tournament specific tickets? Mine is just inactive in my account now.
09-14-2014 , 09:01 PM
Not sure how much I got back but it was at least the 360.
09-14-2014 , 09:01 PM
anyone that is satisfied or finds any of this acceptable has the wrong wrong mindset. If you don't demand a higher standard you don't deserve one.

I got my generic GSSS $100 tic back for the #12mid that didn't start and got $350 for the #11mid.

You guys clearly effed me up good.

How the hell do you not refund me $1000 buyin for the 1K buyin MTT even though I busted. If a tournament is not in the money... everybody gets refunded.

And to add to my pain and suffering...

Bustout hand was flop KcJc4c

I have AcTc

I have a big stack in the $200K GTD ($200 buyin) and I get screwed.

I am officially boycotting this bs site.

Refund me my $1000 for the 50K GTD MTT.

I was refunded my useless ticket from the low main event.. I want CASH
09-14-2014 , 09:05 PM
Party needs to send emails to all players listing what their payouts were. I dont know what I had in my accounts, so I don't know what refunds were.

I also DEFINITELY had tournament tickets that are now gone. I don't believe they were converted.

I got the $ in my account for another GSSS tournament I was playing, but not for GSSS #12 Mid, which I satted into but the tournament never appeared on my screen. I am sending them the HH for the satellite.

Looks like there new tournaments are up. Guess they overloaded with the GSSS, sort of embarassing. They used that formula way back when you could play on regular Stars in the US, before ICM was known.

you have a right to be mad about the mess up and them killing your big stack in the $200k but you don't deserve your $1k back from the other event. You were eliminated, and its right there in their rules. The glitch didn't affect you in that tourney, only the $200k guaranteed

Eliminated players at the time of cancellation will not be refunded their buy-in or entry fee

Yeah this is my concern - I used a ticket. Hopefully I get another ticket or T$.

How many people were there when it crashed?

How many entered?

I got $294 credited - this would seem to not include entry fee or a ticket.

Hopefully it's just a matter of it coming out in the wash as they have to refund like 6 tourneys. I noticed my #11 Low hasn't been credited yet.

Based on what they said the policy is,

next eliminated = $0 in step one (the money bubble had not been burst yet).

So 100,000 is divided amongst approx 582 players equally - about $175.
The other 100,000 is based on chip stacks. I don't recall how many entered. But I can buy my $14k or so stack working out to $119.

So there's just step 3 - which is refund of entry. Hopefully after I finish this I'll see it credited.

Lack of communication was very disappointing.
Resolution is fine (in the sense they still are paying the guaranteed $ out). Obviously it's a bummer for how big the tourney is.

Jackal,

Sorry about the technical problems you had during the GSSS #11 Mid - $200,000 GTD NLH Main Event - $50K GTD for 1st tournament.

To make it up to you, we've refunded your account with $ 396.35 USD. It's the price of your tournament entry plus a bit more.

Read about our tournament refund policy here or sign in to your account to continue playing.

1 out of 2. I'm assuming this is a long tedious manual process by them so we just have to wait

Agreed.

Each played should get a breakdown of their situation for each canceled tournament they entered. Is this a bitch to do? Yeah. But this is a major eff-up. They should blow us away with their response. With PP knocking at the door it's in their best interest to be overly apologetic and err on the side of generosity in their response.

yeah, I got an email about the 200k guaranteed tournament, but no other email. I was playing every crashed tournament at that time.
09-14-2014 , 09:28 PM
Just read the e-mail with my refund.
They actually do give a breakdown of the refund.

Next prize was $0.

$100,000 divided equally between the 566 who were left, $176.67 each

$100,000 divided by My Chips/14420000 (number of chips in play) which for me worked out to $102.32.

$15 refund for entry fee (i.e. the vig - I misunderstood this to $200, it's the plus part of $185+15)

So $294 for me (they gave me the extra penny) and my $200 ticket is gobbled up (i.e. this is what I woulda got if I paid $200 cash)

Haven't seen my #11 Low refund yet, but I expect something similar.

I was three tabling at the moment of the crash. Had ~25k in the main and was refunded $368 for that.

Was also in:
GSSS #11 Low w/ 48k in my stack --no refund (tournament id: 105140435)
GSSS #12 Mega Qualifier w/ 34k and 2/7 paying 5 seats (tournament id: 105155334)

No refunds for either of those.

This refund is terrible. The tournament froze and a bunch of people were able to continue registering for at least 40 minutes; if you didn't play a hand, I don't think you should have gotten any kind of refund other than just your $200 back. You shouldn't be able to profit off something that didn't affect you

Additionally, it affects everyone who was registered, still in, and thus affected; what should have been more overlay money and equity for everyone, got watered down because registration was still allowed; so the impact is 2 fold
