Errors Since Recent Update Errors Since Recent Update

It has been nearly a week since the recent update.

I have seen complaints peppered around unrelated threads.

Let's collect all the *known* problems we are allegedly having here. Then at least PartyPoker cannot claim to not have seen the issues or complaints. And maybe there might be some hope of fixing some of these issues.

So as far as I know the following issues are related to the most recent update:

1. Players can't register for tournaments. You click yes and it never provides confirmation. This is clearly not affecting 100% of the players, because I can see players registered in these tournaments. Customer Service has verified that they are aware of this issue, but they claim they cannot register us even at our request.

2. Geolocation Issues seem more severe. I am getting disconnected much more often, and often times the geolocation issue will come up as soon as I log in.

3. Other games (non-poker) are also not launching cleanly and require you to close them and re-launch them multiple times before they work. After a nearly a week without poker I wanted to see if the other games were working and I noticed this problem with Casino games.

Anybody else? Please feel free to pile on here.

yep stopped by buddys house one afternoon he happened to be playing in the afternoon 6 max 250 guarantee. w about 19 players left w 13 to cash. this one guy starts stalling using his all his clock and varying amounts of his time bank.

after a few hands of this my buddy notices his time bank keeps going back up to 70ish seconds everyhand.

2 hours later its down to hand for hand and the prick is still doing it. people at both tables were going nuts. finally my buddy gets a hold of live chat reports it they check and say "thank you for reporting this. this needs to get checked out" thats it.

was only one players time bank. continuously getting re-upped. the guy was small stack gets miracle reupped when he finally did call a hand w sh*t several times. several players got so frustrated the bubble didnt burst big stacks donked away their stacks just to get out of it. seemed intentional at that point. i know my buddy did once the bubble burst.

this guy who shouldve never even made the bottom slice ends up getting 4th because of the glitch in which only he benefited. never seen that guy before on any site. this totally changed the entire outcome of that tournament.

betcha they couldnt find anything "wrong" with their software. i was shocked to see cs over live chat somewhat admit the problem by saying "thank you for reporting this to us. this needs to be checked"

btw my buddy's time bank didnt replenish every hand nor did it seem like anybody elses did. other players at other tables in the tourney noticed the time bank thing too the chat was absolutely hilarious

I haven't been able to register for any tournaments since the update. I've given up on this site for now.

Tonight has been unbearable with Geolocation issues and the software freezing up my Macbook. Grrr not happy. This is how I make my living and I can't even play right now because of how unreliable the software is being.

Starting on Friday I've been having a ton of geo location issues as well. I'm in the same boat as you and I can't quite figure out whats wrong.

What is strange is that I think this update went in Tuesday or Wednesday of last week. Does anybody know if there is a way to run the software without accepting the updates? I couldn't figure it out.

Also wondering if the geolocation issues on about Friday, perhaps they are related to a different issue than was caused by the update problems.

I have the knowledge of a 4th grader when it comes to computers, or everything for all I know. Nevertheless , I was in the 150k guaranteed & received geo issues. I simply rebooted my router & had no problems thereafter. Thank goodness considering I took 409th place in the big tourney. Boyyyy whata close call.

i usually start my sessions by making sure a fresh start with my modem and comp and such. still get the geo issues from time to time. i've had more issues w disconnects than geo issues in the last year. just about everytime its not my service provider or internet connection, thats the first thing i check when i get the disconnects. usually restarts of my comp makes no difference.

Same, a restart of my MacBook still doesn't stop the frequent Geolocation and freezing up issues.

heres a new one,

hand for hand in the 945pm freeroll all tables resume but one stays paused for an extra hand ( naturally the table w shortest stack who wouldve been put all in on the ante 2 left till cash)

next hand after that short all tables resume normally shortest stack put all in on ante gets miracle re-up. two other short stacks bust out w some more moderate one. shortest stack makes it from that glitch

Hi all

If players are still experiencing issues we recommend a re install - please ensure local files are deleted

If you are still having issues -could you kindly send a PM with your username and some details - operating system (laptop/mobile), error message and if you have any 3rd party tools running
Once we have this info I can ask the tech team to investigate

For those also having ongoing geo location issues - please do the same and drop myself a PM

Kind regards,

Colette

Can you please stop sending me emails telling me the crashing errors have been fixed and then asking me to confirm if I have had any in the last 2 months? The only reason you haven't heard from me in a bit is because its pointless to keep emailing you and listen to you pretend to care and pretend to correct things.

I will let you know when they have indeed been fixed. In fact, since I have been so vocal about you NOT fixing them for the past 8 months, I will publicly post when the crashing has ceased and it is not costing me an absolute fortune.

Until that time, consider the issue not fixed, mark me down as still having it crash on me every single day, whether I am logged in or not. Have you done anything with regard to this issue since I contacted you in September? Since management was involved in November? Since a fix was supposed to be issued in January? Since I talked to the tech team in February?

lol AMEN i stopped reporting errors and such for the same reason. just pointless to do when repeatedly nothing gets done about them. occasionally new ones i have listed on here. still its pretty much useless.

from my perspective party doesnt care about their nj pool very much if any. its not big enough money for them to take care of issues. they seem to have the attitude we'll still get the grinders and degenerates squeeze out some smaller profit than we could have and not have to fix anything.

sadly they keep proving it to many of us. instead of doing things to improve their traffic and attract more players they seem to have the attitude of we've gotten most of those in the entire state who might be interested in poker, not realizing all the gossip and people actually hearing the repeated complaints actually keeps many more from signing up and very many more from even thinking about depositing until they see/ hear good things. aside from their regular grinders they dont have too much going for them pokerwise and they dont seem to care much about those players and their business either.

money which constantly changes hands between mostly regulars/grinders who mostly parlay it and more, which provides them with their income from rake and fees. we still have 2 other sites to grind at with pokerstars looming.
