entire buy-in taken by a BJ table on party entire buy-in taken by a BJ table on party

I hope people will carefully monitor the accounting of W/L on Party. I have not noticed any problems with the poker tables, but my entire buy-in at a blackjack table has gone missing after the client crashed. The gaming table vanished in the middle of a hand, and an error message flashed up in its place. When I checked my transaction log, I see the buy-in was taken from my funds, but the remainder of my buy-in has not been credited back to my account. This was 14 hours ago, and support has not responded to my complaint.

If it is possible for software crashes to steal my buy-in in BJ, it seems there are not proper protections in place to 'clean up' after errors. How is this windfall profit accounted for in their system? Don't they have an internal audit function to detect this and credit the funds back to the player immediately? If they do not have proper controls for BJ, then they probably don't have any proper controls for poker accounting, either.

BTW, I had a total of 19 when the BJ game crashed, so I had substantial equity in the hand that I also forfeited.

Be careful out there.

Okay, the remainder of my buy-in was credited a few minutes ago. I had sent a second blistering e-mail to support.nj@partypoker.com this morning. I have still received no e-mail or information regarding the hand in play at the time.

It would be great if the transaction log could be downloaded so we can run our own auditing software and match up transactions. Many people will have numerous sessions, and monitoring for missing funds will be tedious, especially if a day's activity runs across several pages.

If your playing online bj then I believe proper software controls in terms of a crash are the least of your problems

A few times over the last week I have left a cash table and the money didnt show up that it left the table in my balance. If I close and restart then it shows up. Usually it comes after the hand is over and some hands last long, but these few times were for more than 30 minutes to a few hours. The balance is confusing enough sometimes if youre in a few cash tables and tournaments at the same time.

I think we should hold them to a higher standard than ''usually shows up eventually'. In my case, the money went missing for over 15 hours, and I still have no comment or apology from support, nor do I have a resolution of the hand I was playing at the time. They appear to have taken half a bet from my initial buy-in.

As someone who has been known to degen on non-poker games, I was thrilled to find out that you can exclude yourself from all casino games and still be allowed to play poker. It's a pretty awesome feature.

it seems a lot quicker and less painful to have the site crash and steal your buy in then waste a few hours losing it

Thanks for all the snarky remarks, but I don't play negative games except to scout for advantage plays. As someone who has made money playing slots, BJ, and video poker for two decades, I know that advantage situations seldom have signs on them explaining how the casino screwed up.

Now, can we stay on topic? Which is that my funds went missing for 15 hours with no explanation or apology from Party/Borgata.
