It's not just YourDoom. I know of at least four people that have changed their names multiple times. I'd out them in this thread if I could be sure that it's allowed per the forum rules.

Oh it's allowed alright. What the others are doing isn't particularly out of line though while party allow it. Yourdoom though it's just another in a long line of scummy tactics and practices that are used to deceive people into buying his coaching.

Just to add on to others' comments, this is a very serious issue and I hope is treated as such. Screen name changes should absolutely not be allowed.

Hi all

I can confirm screen name changes will no longer be allowed going forward.
Should a player contact CS - the request will be denied.
The change of screen name will only be made by CS management in extreme cases - ie: harassment - once reviewed in full by the relevant teams

Great news if true - though 2 regs have changed their screen names in the past day or two, so I'm skeptical.

1. IMJUSTTHEMAN is now MADBUM (100% confirmed).
2. YourDoom is now RaiseOnce (95% sure based on evidence).

On #2 specifically - how do you guys let your single biggest abuser be approved once again? Disappointing.

Any chance they are doing this through Borgata and not Party?

I have seen those nicknames for 2-3 days, so possibly they got their screen name changes in before Party officially stopped allowing this.

I know all the reasons why allowing changes is bad. But it definitely sucks to feel like you are targeted by players. And anybody who didn't change their name before now has an impossible hill to climb in the future. Proving harassment is very difficult.

PartyPoker made 100% the correct decision in changing this policy. I am just lamenting the fact that, as in all areas of life in NJ, it seems like the corrupt ones are the only beneficiaries and the people with real reasons for using the old policy just get screwed.

for me though feeling like your a target isnt valid enough reason. how many of us are targeted by other players for many reasons and not just because we're always winning. what about because we play a certain style, seem like a newbie, seem like bad luck, seem predictable, or any other reason somebody might make notes on a plyer.

oh this guy plays like a bully let me wait till i get a big hand and take him out. how mny of us have done some targeting in some way. for non harassment reasons.

There is one alternative though. How about an info-box for every player so that anybody can find out what their multiple aliases have been? Because truthfully, if you could link prior accounts with current ones, we would all be allowed to have tons of name changes.

Once again, maybe targeting is a bad word but the main people who are screwed by this would be those literally being stalked via these sites. And it may be rare but it does happen.

In practice, "fun" players are never the ones who requested a username change. It was almost exclusively regs who already beat the games, and their main incentive was an increased edge on other regs due to a now lopsided HUD stat advantage.

So pretty sure you have it backwards on who the "corrupt ones" are.

The same abuser has changed his name yet AGAIN. His brother has as well. This is getting to be absurd now.

Somebody needs to do something about this. Either we ALL get to change our handles whenever we want or NO ONE does. This is ruining the integrity of the games.

I happen to know the abuser personally and in a recent email he basically just laughs at the fact that the OP is the one responsible for Party letting him change his handle repeatedly.

I was changing my name once a month but recently increased it BECAUSE of sammagid. If someone posts my name on the internet or when sammagid blocks my HU tables and types crazy **** in the chat box, I use that as my reason to change my name and for that reason party allows it.

He’s the one actually giving me the ability to change more often. And if his behavior continues then I will continue and I will surly profit more because of him. I sell videos detailing exactly how I play so it’s not fair to me if the world know whatever name I’m using = YourDoom.

Being that OP does not mind outing said abuser on public forum and in the party chat-box I figured it was alright to post email as is...

For the sake of transparency I play as BldSwtTrs and I have also requested and been granted multiple name changes in the past (ImUrNemesis, Toothestreets, ViciousPenguin). At the time I was more tired of looking at the actual name then I was trying to gain an "edge", but I am just as guilty as abuser. To be honest I never really took a step back to realize the consequences of these actions. I realize now how unfair of a practice it is after witnessing the ridiculousness of said abuser and how much of an edge there is to be gained by popping up in a small player pool with a completely clean slate...

Oh and he is now AllinCindy, his brother (jdkiller) is now lolyoufold. I guess now party will let them just go and change their handles AGAIN since they were outed on public platform? Also, he is grandpa1948 or something on WSOP.

Lastly, if said abuser has a problem with my outing him (or his brother) then you know where I reside and are welcome to come over and discuss said actions at any time.

Also, the absurdity of YourDoom feeling slighted by people knowing its him because he peddles instructional videos (as if this is some sort of benevolent act on his part or that someone is forcing him to take said action) pretty much sums up the absurdity of this kids entire being.
