This is the kind of thing that seems like it should be self explanatory. But what exactly defines a "malfunction?" Who decides what a malfunction is?
In theory this has nothing to do with the size of the win you have hit. And usually in a physical AC casino, if the tech can reinitialize the machine and have the bonus return, they just pay you what it is. But in theory if they said it was a malfunction, they would not have to pay. So if the machine doesn't come back after a reboot, etc, they would be under no obligation to pay under the law.
Since there is no physical machine with an online casino, there should not be as great of a possibility of a malfunction. But they do still occur.
