Picked a good time to move away from Nevada, imo. Sigh...Well still a good sign, unfortunately I live in a state that has virtually zero chance (Virginia) of doing something similar as this. Hopefully online goes nationwide soon.

I have to say though, if this site, and others through casinos, goes live for everyone it will be awesome having access to your money when you do go to Vegas (or other states with Casinos that are linked with this) Also, hell of an excuse to go to Vegas if you hit a big score..."But Hunny, I can fly there and get the money right away, or wait X weeks for it to show up!"

Anywho, pretty cool, certainly a step in the right direction. Hopefully Ultimate Poker listens to it's players and they get everything going in short order.

I am no legal expert but this makes me think we'll see HUDs soon. Has anyone who is playing noticed if the client writes hand history files to your computer?

They are detecting your location via cellphone triangulation to make sure you're in the State. VPNs aren't going to help.

Based on the demand we hear, and obviously attempting to balance the liquidity so we don't kill off games, we'll spread new games. We talk about this quite a bit internally - what games do people like, what effects does it have on the ecosystem and so on. It's actually quite a difficult problem - it's not just about "raking players into the ground" (as has been quoted before).

We want people to play for a long time on their deposits - to get a lot of bang for the buck. The average player generally doesn't browse 2+2.

this literally has nothing to do with VPNs as it only matters when you sign up. it's not like they are constantly checking where your cell phone is when you sign on, they still know your IP address and can still check to see if you're using a VPN.
