I think if you made the prize pool big enough people would play. Remember the Party NJs millionaire promo? I think they had a freeroll MTT every week and after 9 weeks each winner met in AC to play for the million.

Obviously would not expect a million but say a $25k with first place winning 12.5k, and all 9 players winning something... I know I'd drive down to play in it!

Back in June, Ultimate Gaming, one of Nevada’s three operational online poker sites, announced that Todd Kobrin had been hired as the company’s Chief Marketing Officer.

Kobrin, who before that served as Vice President at 888 for its U.S. and Asia Pacific regions, has plans to build “brand awareness” for Ultimate Gaming and its Ultimate Poker software.

BP: Switching over to New Jersey: Can you talk about the rakeback promotion you have going on there?

TK: We are saying that we have made some really good improvements to the software, and we’re letting you play for free, so give us a shot. What we are trying to do there, slowly but surely, obviously it’s a lot tougher because we only have one casino partner and whatnot; I think by getting the word out and letting people know that our product has improved, we are going to get market share back. Hopefully but the end of the year we can be the third biggest operator in the New Jersey market.

Triple play was def a success though. I think MTTs in general drive traffic these days, cash games are a tough sell even with rakeback.

I think the reality is that UP needs a strategy where there is always a promo running, but (unlike noverlay), the promos allow them to make a profit.

Currently as soon as promo ends, volume dries up until the next promo. Keep them coming one after another, and UP could build some momentum.

We liked Triple Play as well, so much so that we are doing it again in Nevada and New Jersey. We made a few tweaks to improve overall player engagement. You should see the promo pages go live tomorrow

The Sit & Go requirement has been changed from "Win any Triple Play Sit & Go" to "Win any 777 Sit & Go".

In Nevada we will be adding an Omaha ring game table as well as keeping the NLHE tables from the last Triple Play.

Depends on how many are won. Last time in NJ each share was worth around $72. I think they were less in NV.
