This is my new account but I've been lurking since 06. 2P2 has supplied me with some of the best moments of my life and I hope I can give back to you guys.
I'll be talking mostly about techs impact on society and how far we are currently off from where we should be. I've grown up with the internet and I can see its potential but businesses and industries refuse to go digital. My theory is that people don't understand the internets affect on business models so they can't see the transformation we will go through.
The internet being divided makes no sense. All bloggers, publications, and individuals should come onto one platform. Facebook, Twitter, Insta, YouTube, etc. are features in a larger platform/ecosystem but we are so entrenched in the current state that I don't see how it can change. One thing for sure is that the whole clickbait economy needs to be eliminated. That is goal #1 for now.
I don't blame Lebron for being mad but this is a great opportunity for colleges to publicly compete online in front of all of us for who deserves to get Lebrons sons business. Lebrons son is only 10 and 8 years is still long off but it's still a great time to start something where we can all see the kids progression as a basketball player/person. It would be fun to watch.
I like the thought but it's not gonna work. As someone pointed out which I saw, it's more ironic than anything considering Facebook makes people depressed.
This is also a good example of a future job/business/industry.
I'm worried about Net Neutrality being a "win" for consumers like they are saying. I wonder how long we have until they take our freedom of speech away online. Someone make a line.
