Long story short,been playing for about 5 years with losing my BR's and cashing them out.My biggest wins were 1k usd and 1.1k first places at 888 (probably big just for me) .My biggest struggle at all times was BRM and self education.
A week ago i threw my ego through the window and started grinding 0.5$ MTT's
ranging from 45 to 360 mans and this time i really really REALLY want to improve my game and advance in my poker career.
This blog will be for hand analysis,ranting,etc as i advance in my journey.
I have no set goals for this month because i'm grinding only for about a week
and just started getting back into poker. I play about 100-150 tourney a day
10-20 tabling.
Will post a graph when i hit 500 tourneys, probably Friday-Saturday.

hey,

i wish you much success with your intention! i hope you can do it and i can follow here in ur blog

But i don't understand how you can improve your game while playing 10-20 tables... you can improve your mental game and everything but your strategic poker game won't get better that way imo.

best regards!

In the second one i thought that i spewed it off , but wanted some opinions.:

Poker Stars $0.45+$0.05 No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t1250/t2500 Blinds + t250 - 9 players

I can improve my game off table, and i think than the lower the limit the more volume you need to put in, when ill be playing 3.50 or 7 buy in tourneys maybe then i'll think about reducing the number of tables .I really feel confident playing 12-16 tables but don't want to grind for 8 hours so i'm firing them up till 24~
Thanks for the support bro.

Forgot to specify some details about this hand.

Villain was unknown.I had 15 hands on him 33/31 Vpip/Pfr but didn't take that into account.I thought that his calling range should be somewhat tight in that spot say like
88's+;AT+

I did a rough math calculation and if my assumption of his calling range was right then this shove is +ev in the long run.This is the first time i tried to calculate something so please correct me if i'm wrong.

Then i did another one which came out negative

P = Current size of the pot
S = Minimum of your stack vs your opponent's stack
F = Chance of your opponent folding to your shove
W = Chance of you winning when called

When he calls and you win, you earn:P + S
When he calls and you lose, you lose:S
So, if he always called, your EV would be:

EV = (W * (P + S)) - ((1 - W) * S)

But he doesn't always call. When he doesn't call, you win:P
So we can add that into the above:

EV = (F * P) + (1 - F) * ((W * (P+ S)) - ((1 - W) * S))

P=6000
S=27943
F=0.93
W=0.27

When he calls and you win you earn:
P+S=33943

When he calls and you lose you lose:

S=27943

EV=5580+9164.64-20398.39= -5653.75

Please correct me if i'm doing it all wrong
And do we need to take into account that we are already ITM?

I really don't mind the shove. And it could be right, i am not sure about the ranges here. But having said that, iI would just fold the hand preflop.

1. UTG+2 player is all in and everyone will see that you shoved with 92s. I would rather be shoving light and use their passiveness in the future more often than once now.

2. You have almost 14bb and you are in a good spot at the table (ICMwise too, how many players left in the Tourney?). I would maybe look for a spot where you have a bigger edge.

3. You have some alternatives... like raise/fold, which i don't like at all, but there is limp/fold as well, which is imo more likely to be +ev than shoving... and more risk free. You can limp, bet 2,5k on flop and still fold the hand if get raised... (=12bb left, everything is fine)

what do you think?

Good luck with your goals! Will be interesting to follow the progress... i will have to think about goals in my blog as well =)
May i give you a small advice: You are not in direct control of the fourth goal "4.Grow my BR", so i would phrase it a little bit different. Furthermore you dont need the goal ;-) If you achieve goals 1-3, then the fourth goal will also be achieved sooner or later.

Good luck bro!
