Let me tell you about a dream I had a few days ago. I had my alarm set for 5:09am.

So in the beginning of my dream I awake in my bed in my apartment and there is a party going on, the kind of party that couldn't quite actually happen in my apartment with 20-25 people, a guy I know wakes up next to me and climbs out of my bed saying o man crazy times. The floor is littered with random crap confetti, party hats, beer bottles, a frog. I put on my clothes and then begin driving to the forest and while I am driving through the deep woods I wake up to an alarm. I immediately hit the snooze button and fall back to sleep. I awake in my bed and there are electronics everywhere, transistors and motherboards and stuff I dont know what it is cover the tables and the floor and jeb bush is randomly standing there in a wife beater and all he says is just a few more adjustments to go. I wake up to the snooze button alarm and hit the snooze button. Then I have a dream where I get up and there is an odd shading to the lighting in my apartment very dark but not pitch dark I walk around but cant do anything because I hear laughter from people or something and see the shadows of someone running out ot the balcony but no the person.
Then i awake and hit the snooze button and everything is normal I get out of bed and bam the scariest most horrifying demon is staring in my face; black and green oozing skin large shark teeth and bright red eyes maybe 7 feet tall. I am scared ****less and cant move I hear the snooze alarm going off but cant go to it. He is just staring at me and I see another one in the corner of my miniture kitchen half hiding and staring. Finally I hit the snooze alarm and I am already up and standing over the alarm. I turn around and the demon is gone. I dont really know what to do and look around my apartment to see what is going on. I am almost late for work. Sometimes I see things when I wake up and am half asleep. I try to clear my mind. I have groceries to stock.

These types of dreams that are very vivid and very real used to haunt me for a long time but now thye are just another thing on my lifelong journey to no where. 12 year old me would have certainly claimed to actually have seen a demon the way it played out tho.

i would like to point out i technically dont owe the money until july 18th at the convention so I have lots of time to think. ill probably just take out a loan on my ira a month and a half from now.

Bryce now I do believe, that you are from the space ^^. Everything around this 3 k bet on an internet forum on some kind of political outcome feels sooooooooooooo spacy to me. And spacy is exactly the right term. Feeling is the same that I had when I was reading "hitchhikers guide through the galaxy".

Demon sounds scary. As a kid I was running around a pool and ran into a spiderweb and ended up with several spiders crawling on my face. Most of my nightmares that aren't anxiety based involve spiders.

In high school my gf was into dreaming and purchased some book. She had me "practice dreaming" which at first was just writing down dreams to remember them then trying to do things in the dreams. For a few years I was able to have lucid dreams to some extent but it's been at least 3 years since I've had a true one.

Thats neat, I mainly have nightmares about not being able to go the right classroom or losing things i need for a test or not being able to graduate

I had school dreams for a surprisingly long time. No idea why, I never had much anxiety in school.

I have a nightmare once every month or two that I just learned that I'm a couple units short and have to go back to college. I graduated 20 years ago
