I dont think screaminj asian wants me to post in his blog.
Thanks Bryce, hope you're doing well too. You not having a few typos in your posts is like Cindy Crawford without the mole on her face. Just wierd and not nearly as good
Ok so according to DCI the last time I played a serious tournament was may 2006. And the last time I played a game of mtg was 2011. So I have decided to ease into reviewing the set. I decided to buy some cards out of boredom, and don't know the list, so it's a bit of self exploration.
Flareon vs Gravespawn Sovereign
Ok so I was trying to figure out who is cuter flareon or gravespawn sovereign. Flareon has a lot going for it. He has a nice coat and looks like a firefox. I just want to hug him.But I cant hug him because hes on fire!!! Gravespawn Sovereign is a different kind of cute. He has a weathered look and looks strong and a little bit wild. Still I have to admit he has a bit of a cellulite problem.
In the end its really close but I would have to say that I think Flareon is a bit more cute. Flareon wins
They reprinted them as special promo versions (called expeditions). They're rare and thus worth a lot of money.
Bgp,
You can sell them on ebay (or send them to me ldo). Anything from Alpha/Beta/Unlimited will be worth something (or a lot, in the case of rares). Taking some photos or videotaping yourself going through the cards will make it easy to find out what's worth selling.
Black bordered lotus, we're talking many thousands of dollars.
I plan on playing a lot of card games of four types: mtg, hearthstone , plo , and nlhe in preparation for summer. Hearthstone , nlhe and plo would theoretically be in the profitable category while even theoretically MTG will be in the lose money category
Thanks I'll look into it. I looked it up and I think I started with Antiquities and ended with Alliances. Not sure if those are worth anything, but I'll check next week when I get home.
Hearthstone seems like a lot of fun... too much fun.
Feel free to PM me if you want more detailed help once you've looked at your cards. Very generally speaking, everything up to Legends has potential to be worth decent to large amounts of money. In the post-Legends sets, there are a few cards worth decent amounts of money, the rest are pretty meh.
I do want to see that potential 15-years-in-the-closet-Lotus if it's there, that's the mtg dream!
