Thought I'd pop in and vouch for this opportunity...

I've been playing poker for years now, thought I was pretty good, but also felt that both myself and my game had been stagnating to the point where I needed to make a big change if I was going to get to where I want to get in this game. Ultimately, I decided that I needed to change two things:

1) I needed to insert myself into a new environment; I needed to expose myself to fresh faces with different approaches to the game from that of the close group of poker friends I'd associated with for the better part of the last decade, and
2) I needed coaching; up until recently, the extent of my knowledge acquisition/strategy improvement in poker had been self-taught - I watched RIO videos, read forums, read poker books, talked hands/general strategy w/ a few poker friends in a Skype chat, ran sims on my own, etc.

I came to the conclusion that the easiest way to fulfill both of these things would be to apply to a stable. After doing some research, two stables stood out to me: BBZ Staking and another prominent MTT stable.

For the sake of transparency, I will admit that the other stable was my #1 choice. Their management team and coaches are more public-facing in the industry and I felt I had a better grasp on how they approach poker/coaching and what I would get out of being a member of their stable. In the end, my application was rejected by this other stable.

Naturally, I was disappointed. However, I have since come to learn the extent to which that was a blessing in disguise.

I started with BBZ Staking/bigbluffzinc (Jordan) about four months ago and my experience to date has pretty much exceeded all expectations I had going in.

Re: coaching
The daily group coaching sessions have been an invaluable resource and are all run by Jordan himself. They're interactive and he seems to make a conscious effort to vary the topic of the lessons just enough to keep them fun/novel/interesting. If you want to take your learning to the next level and personalize it to your needs, he offers private one-on-one coaching at a ridiculously cheap hourly rate which can be added directly to makeup. I think probably the most underrated aspect of his coaching skillset is that while this is clearly a guy who thinks about the game at a super high level, he's able to come down to yours and convey complex concepts to you in a way that makes it easy to understand and digest.

Re: moving up stakes
My ABI was doubled within two months of joining the stable. If you put in the work it will be noticed and you will be rewarded with opportunity.

Re: the stable environment/Skype Group
Inserting yourself into an productive learning environment and surrounding yourself w/ the right people is a critical, underappreciated element for success in life and in poker. From Day 1, the other guys in the stable were super welcoming towards me and it was obvious that I'd found a close-knit, supportive group where everyone was motivated towards a common goal. Whether you want some opinions on a hand you just played or input on some real-life stuff, there's always multiple people around who are more than willing to share their thoughts.

As with any opportunity in life, the biggest determinant in how much success that opportunity ultimately yields is going to come down to what you put into it. Jordan and BBZ Staking give you the tools to take your game to the next level, if you're someone willing to put in the time and effort to take advantage of those tools, I highly recommend applying.

Good luck!

BBZ staking has provided me with one of the best poker coaching and because of it I was able to move up from grinding micro stakes to being regular at some of the highest stakes online tournaments.

If you wanna become one of the best I highly recommend coming to BBZ!
