One thing you can check is the location your pc is showing. http://www.iplocation.net/index.php will poll 4 different location services and show the results.

Heading to NV next week. From all the reading & searching I'vr done here I'm believing I can just sign up, deposit & play. Am I missing anything or does anyone have any tips for any set-up speed bumps they've experienced? Thanks in advance.

How come I never get tickets to the 250$ free roll on sundays? I'm Silver, I've emailed support but not reply.

If you are eligible for the weekly $1k, you can't play in the $250. And vice versa. You don't need a ticket, just sign up when registration is open. It will say Restricted but it lets you register. Lack of a response from support isn't much of a surprise.

Partially answering my own question. They now wait until the hand is over to boot you due to geolocation. This is fantastic. Should be its own thread.

Ramblings from a former WSOP.com grinder trying to jump back in:

I put in a nice amount of volume during the first several months of the site launching in NV. Made Diamond a couple months and platinum a couple other ones. I got busy and withdrew my roll about two months ago and went to deposit a few days ago. Cashier chat rep couldn't do any sort of deposit bonus and so I said I'd wait on the sidelines. I also noticed the cash games look pretty dismal. I know the WSOP is coming and it looks like the site is trying to drum up promotions for WSOP ME satty's and what not, but as a cash game player, this is depressing to see. Just my $0.02 as a potential customer that the site would seem to desire having.

Don't know if this is the right place for suggestions/bugs or if they've been mentioned before, but here are a couple-

Fix the wait list system. It happens probably 25% of the time where I'm on a list, it's pops up that my seat is ready, I'll click take seat button and it will say the seat is reserved for someone else and I'll have to rejoin the list. I think for whatever reason that if you click on anything else besides the take my seat button when it first pops up, it won't let you take the seat.

Also, make the sit out from a table period longer, 3 orbits can go by super quick

What's the weekly 1k? I don't register for either one.

A player was check raised on the river. A 3rd player who already folded told him to call. I emailed support about this and their response was "you have the option to disable a player's chat if you wishes not to see what he is saying."

looks like the 1K has been replaced with a 2K Invitational. Once you reach Silver or better, you can play the 2K.....

You are so right this problem happens everyday and is a major pain. Bill get someone on this please. You go from 5th in line to 1st in line then back to 5th again.

Yeah sorry. It's been awhile since I've been eligible but I meant the weekly 2k invitational. You can only play in one of the weekly invitationals, not both.

Is the nevada sever down or something? Every time I try to log on it says that the client is being updated and will start when it's done but it's been like that all day.

Whenever I'm sitting out because I am busy doing something else on my computer, why do I have to sit and watch a million previous hands flash really quickly before I can sit back in again? This is highly annoying, and it only does it when I don't have the window in front for a long time. Also, can you remove the message that pops up to unlock my session. I don't understand this at all. When I click sit out, I don't want the client popping back up interrupting what I'm doing to tell me my session will be locked or that I've switched tables. Quite annoying!

Anybody else experiencing a sit-out bug? When I'm playing in a tourny and I click fold or something then start doing other things on my computer it will go to the next hand and not pop back up when it's my turn to act, instead it will pop up only after it has folded my hand. This is happening more frequently and quite annoying. I am not sitting out when this occurs, it randomly doesn't tell me it's my turn to act and then it will sit me out and fold my hand but pop up to inform me of this only after I can't do anything about it. This is on the mac version btw.

I experience same thing. Sometimes I sign off and sign back on, that eliminates it.
