Table unexpectedly closes, money not creditted back to accounts Table unexpectedly closes, money not creditted back to accounts

This just happened twice in a row, full table of 10/20 Stud8.

Online poker in the US will never make it, if this is the type of service we have in place.

Don't worry you'll get it back in several days, and they might even throw in a $5 tourney ticket for your troubles...

money is back in my account from both Saturday's incident and yesterday.

didn't get a tourney ticket tho.

Just now happened 10nl game also did not put money back in account. Now we have a new problem they won't want to talk about on 2+2

Just happened to me too on 2 tables of 10nl. I contacted them and they said they would email in 48 hours. Meanwhile $58.23 is in limbo.

And people wonder why I don't play bigger stakes online right now. I miss pstars.

I contacted support and was instructed to give them the days it happened. It's happened to me a HANDFUL of times (3x today). So many times to where I've ignored it in the past. I play such a high amount of volume/tables, and rarely check my bankroll while playing, so I had no idea this was happening. Just now this glitch happened and took $400+ from me. It's a very uneasy feeling not knowing how much money is "in the air" considering it could very easily be thousands for me. It shows $0 in play on tables. I was asked to inform them the previous days this has happened to me. I don't really see this as my job to instruct WSOP.com when their tables are glitching (holding) money from me, as for a sites job should be to ensure the players money is always safe. Is there not a way for them to see 100% of the money that was in limbo? If not, that's extremely unsettling. To say this isn't absolutely absurd is an understatement.

Even though you can't see the $$$ in play on your end, they are able to see it from their end.

When this has happened I have asked to give me my total account balance, and they money stuck in play...both time they have given me the totals.

Either way this situation sucks and it sucks to have $$$ in limbo for even 1 day.

Same thing happened to me today. Disconnected from my cash game table, and then my stack was not credited back to my account...

Spoke with customer support who said that this is becoming a common occurrence and indicated that the problem would be addressed within 48 hours...

If they are able to acknowledge that money has been withheld but not returned, the site should be able to return our money much quicker than two days.

Just happened to me on a a .50/100 table. I never would have thought to check to see if the money was there (except for this thread) because I'm 10 tabling and one wouldn't think anything like this would ever be possible. The lady got angry at me because I didn't know the name of the table or the amount I had on it. How the **** am I supposed to know any of that when it snap closes you moron?! I closed all my tables and they found the money in play so I guess I'll get it back. NV needs another company to come in to the game. WSOP hasn't fixed one glitch in their software since they launched. This is the dumbest and most irresponsible glitch I've ever seen in all my years playing online poker.

It wouldn't be as bad if they actually contacted us to say "hey, we know our site messed up, you're owed (x) amount of dollars, your money is safe". But, nothing. Instead, its our job to let them know which tables have closed, and at what time and day. I'm in the same boat as you, while 10 tabling, I have zero clue if and when I'm missing money. I never thought i'd ever have to worry about money just disappearing. To have to be an accountant, and keep track of whether or not you're missing money due to the sites issues blows my mind. I've heard rumors of other regulars being out $5k+. Completely unacceptable WSOP...

We need to send some phone calls and emails to the Nevada gaming control board.

Seems like this happened again on the Nevada WSOP site around midnight. All cash game tables were affected.

Is this the same issue? Several people said it was due to a nightly server re-boot, but it makes no sense in either case. I have seen all different random times for these reboots in this thread.

Sounds pretty random to me...

Needs to be fixed, quickly.

And customer service needs to have a better response than, "we'll look into it within 48 hours." They should give specific reassurances, especially when they know the specifics of our funds disappearing.

For the record, my funds were returned to me within 12 hours of them disappearing.

Yeah, but did you have to contact them to get your money back? I was 10 tabling last night and around midnight 6 or 7 of my tables closed due to 'server' something-or-other. *From what I could see* I got my money back into my account, but it's not like I'm checking my account balance every 2 seconds so I cant tell for sure...

I'm usually a big fan of WSOP but this is something that just cannot keep happening. It's quite disheartening when the waiting list glitch cant even be fixed, and now VERY serious glitches that affect our play and money are on the line.

They expected a huge influx of players during the series and this is not the way to *keep* players playing after...

Money returned today. Looks like $1.5-1.7k was missing due to the glitch for me. Hopefully they fixed this bug.

Happened yesterday to me too...not fun.
