Geolocation Blues Geolocation Blues

Oh mama, can this really be the end?

To be stuck inside of Vegas with the geolocation blues again?

Despite reassurances from WSOP Bill that there hasn't been a noticeable increase in players being booted for geolocation issues, I have recently been getting kicked off a lot.

At least they now let you complete hands you are playing. Last night, I was on the button in two NL50 games when I got the eviction notice.

+1

I never got kicked off for geolocation issues until this week. Now it's happening daily.

Just got done reading a few threads about this. I moved to Las Vegas last week and planned on signing up to WSOP.com to start playing ((Satellites to event 64 (the online bracelet event) in particular)). Totally turned off now and waiting until this gets resolved. Too many other options available.

I'm being booted often as well. Never had a problem (since wsop switched to wifi verification) until recently.

Same BS over and over. Cash games or tourney's same BS.

Same here. I am getting booted basically within 40 min of sitting down. Started playing on March 15th and have been kicked ~ 80+ times. It is getting comical. Also as a PLO8 player with few tables running it is a major hindrance to getting in some volume. Pretty close to biting the bullet and depositing on Bovada.

3-4 times a day getting booted. Have Verizon Iphone 6+ and Cox Cable. Also messages lost connection, but my internet never was disconnected

Same crap over and over

Was 7/31 as well as playing 5 SnGs and got kicked off multiple times, finally called customer support and was offered $10.00
I mean $10.00 is pretty insulting.

Amazing how big a name WSOP is and yet their site operates like its from 1997.

Geolocation issues, poor SnG payout structure, unfair weekly leader board situation makes this a horrible only option for Nevada residents trapped in the state.

Someone mentioned that they wanted to play on Bovada a few posts ago, and im sorry to inform you but that isn't possible.

I tried opening an account there last month and they told me they unfortunately dont accept new accounts from Nevada.
They also told me that they no longer accept deposits on any account from Nevada.

Does anyone never get kicked for geolocation issues? Please specify if you use wifi or phone.

i had no issues for nearly a year but lately it's been kicking me every hour to 3 hrs too.

I occasionally had issues before WSOP switched to wifi. After wifi, I might have been booted once or twice in the span of many months (what was it? September? until March....)

The last few weeks, I'm being booted A LOT. I close the program, log right back in with no verification problems, and then have to get back on a waitlist for the tables that I had been playing.

At least the problem doesn't bother WSOPBill. I would hate for him to take something seriously.

You guys can log in at all? Lucky.
04-07-2015 , 07:30 PM
kicked off again. every damn day
04-08-2015 , 09:31 PM
3-6 times daily. its great waiting to get on the tables for 20 minutes to get kicked off right away and wait another 20 minutes. wsop your crushing your competition... oh wait...
04-10-2015 , 09:21 PM
Getting kicked off daily .. Then I have to join a wait list of 9 players wtf this really sucks! And bring my stud/8 back!!

Bill,

I don't understand how it is possible, after the posts in these forums, and the numerous calls I've made to your customer service department, that WSOP has not even acknowledged that there is an issue with your wifi geolocation that started approximately a month and a half ago.

Being kicked off the tables regularly is frustrating--- but not half as frustrating as having the issue ignored. Everyone can understand WSOP having technical issues. It's much harder for me, and the rest of your players, to forgive WSOP for dismissing the issue and refusing to even entertain the idea that we are experiencing problems because of deficiencies in your software.

AGAIN and again and again..........Hello anyone out there
04-13-2015 , 08:58 PM
Just booted
04-14-2015 , 03:48 PM
just like clock work. Kicked off 3 tables. Thank you WSOP for addressing this problem so quickly.
04-14-2015 , 06:10 PM
WSOP just called me and ask a few questions, then said they will forward everything to tech. I will let you know when I hear more.

Today I talked to WSOP nice lady no results other than she said they are trying to fix it said my wifi is fine. In other words just live with it. And I will untill the very minute someone else opens in NV. and them I'm gone.

WSOP.com will be the only major site in Nevada for the foreseeable future. There is more hope that Real Gaming grows than there is that a third site will come into the state and produce a viable level of traffic.

Buddyspal, do you have an android phone?
