Confusing Tournament Ticket Sale Promo Confusing Tournament Ticket Sale Promo

I really don't understand the logic behind the upcoming promotion. It's one thing to offer the discount on the tournament tickets for a 24 hour period, but how do you have tournament tickets that are only good for 24 hours?

You offer $200 tournament tickets as part of the promotion, however there is no $200 tournament that runs on the day of the promotion. So you are bascially supposed to buy one hope that a $200 sng goes off and if it it doesn't you are screwed out of $200? How is that possible?

The way I read the promotion is that the sale lasts for 24 hours. Can you show the line that says the tickets are only good for 24 hours?

portion from email I received

the promotion starts on 25th November 2014, therefore if you purchase your tickets on the 25th they will be expired on the 26th. However if you purchase your ticket on the 26th, they still expires on the 26th as that is when the promotion ends.

I see nothing in the official text of the promotion to indicate that. If you were speaking to support, I absolutely believe a support rep is dumb enough to give you that answer. If the promotion actually works that way, it is the dumbest promotion ever, so I am giving WSOP some credit on not doing that, since they could have just halved all fees for the day.

I guess we'll see on Tuesday for sure though. I sure hope it isn't that dumb.

i called their support and asked this question. they called me back in 2 hours and told me the tickets are good for one year.

when i went to purchase them i noticed you can only save up to 100 dollars no matter how many tickets you buy.

So once again it appears that email support gave me a 100% incorrect answer to a question. Great job wsop support team.

This promotion makes no sense to me. I was going to buy tickets but from the text I read it looks like you only get a ticket if you enter a tournament today. And only if you were one of the first 10 to enter that tournament.

"Caesars Interactive Entertainment New Jersey LLC DBA WSOP.com (“CIENJ”) Tournament Ticket Sale refers to the event occurring from 11/25/14 at 9:00 a.m. to 11/26/14 at approximately 9:00 a.m. ET. All times are Eastern Time."

Why approximately? If it's a "24 hour sale", it should run 24 hours. I tried to buy some this morning, but apparently it's too late.

How can you be the WSOP brand and be so ****tarded? It is outrageous how bad they are. The sale was confusing, poorly run, and **** anyway.

FIX THE DAMN STRUCTURE TO THE 10K, YOUR NIGHTLY FLAGSHIP.
