Does it really make sense that someone would grind 5s and 200s at the same time? How ****ing stupid are the sheep at WSOP?

My guess is he does it because there isn't enough volume and/or good spots for him to play X number of tables at stakes above a certain buy-in and so he plays some of the lower buy-in ones also. I don't play sngs so I don't really know what the volume or quality of the WSOP sngs are. But as something sort of similar I can tell you that once when I was playing cash games at WSOP I was playing some 5/10NL (1000NL) and some 0.25/0.50 (50NL) at the same time and on multiple occasions have played 5/10 (1000NL) and 0.50/1 (100NL) at the same time.

So, I do not find it suspicious. And I have no idea what "SuperUser" would have to do with this.

Right, I have played against him many many times, and yet he never sat out ALL of the times I have seen him play. It is LITERALLY impossible to play that much tables unless you have a sick sick setup. If you do then fair enough.

I've seen him sit out entire tournaments if that makes the OP feel any better.

He plays all the stakes because it gets him 3 leaderboard payouts. Guy is a solid grinder and has never uttered a negative word to anyone that I've seen.

I don't think he's a bot. This is silly. I have played with him a good bit. I think he is the best SNG reg on WSOP NJ.

I'm certain that he's human and not a bot because he adjusts his play to counteract my adjustments. A computer program, no matter how well written would have problems doing that.

I must confess, at times, he does run really well against myself and against other players. I get the sense that this isn't pure luck, but just the result of his play.

As players we shouldn't look at the result of the hand, but instead look at our equity in the hand at the time the player is allin. If you get it in with QQ vs AK, you are simply going to lose half the time. If you get it in with AA vs 77, you are still going to lose 20% of the time.

The dude certainly runs well, but I get the sense that he has studied the game, has lots of experience, has superior fundamentals, and most importantly he doesn't let recent results affect his next play. These qualities, plus what must be a huge bankroll help to make him the toughest opponent on the site. That said, he can still be beaten if you play your best poker against him. He is just a man, he's not a machine.

He is def the most consistent... had a couple great runs against him to finish 1st in the midstakes for back to back weeks. Has been really fun playing against him... probably played 40k+ hands against him lol
