Flop: (9.4 SB) A K 2 (3 players)

Hero checks, UTG bets, BTN calls, Hero calls

River: (13.7 BB) Q (3 players)

Flop: 3-bet in case, he overplays an Ax.

Re: What's the proper line -Massiv Action on Flop with TPTK

It looks fine so far. Your flop c-bet could be a lot of things, but when you 3-bet this flop after having 3-bet preflop, you're clearly representing at least a strong ace. So UTG's cap would scare me -- particularly given that there aren't even any flush draws or open-ended straight draws available on the board.

I would begin on the river by checking. It is tempting to checkraise, particularly after a bet and a call. But I'm not sure if that's best. A big part of the problem is that I don't know what people are limp-calling with preflop at 0.25/0.5 these days. But, anyway, pocket 2's are a legitimate concern. It's just 3 combos, but actually A2 is also just 3 combos if Button has an Ax hand, which appears to be quite possible. Also, AK (6 combos, or 3 combos if Button has Ax) and KK (3 combos) are concerns if it turns out UTG is the type to get "tricky" preflop with those hands and limp-call.

In addition to A2, we're mostly hoping for K2 (9 combos) or an overplayed Ax. But K2 should probably be discounted heavily because of preflop.

I think I would just check-call the river.

If Button raised, that would be unpleasant, but the thought would occur to me that he could have KQ (or AQ), so I would probably call and pray against these unknowns. We would be getting better than 8:1 even if it came back two bets to us. Still, I wouldn't be very optimistic. I'm thinking a raise from Button probably means he backed into a flush with an AdXd or KdXd hand. And there's no guarantee we have UTG beat, either.

You should post any read you have on either villain when you post a hand. It helps a lot when we're trying to determine the best course of action.

Without any reads, I play flop and turn the same as you. I think B/C turn is slightly overplaying our hand at this point.

I think I would C/R the river and call a 3-bet if Btn calls the 1st bet by UTG on the river. If Btn raises UTG's river bet I would just call. If Btn folds to UTG's bet on the river I would just call.

I would c/r call. UTG is clearly a huge a donk given the preflop action so he could have a ton of hands that we beat here. We crush even a tight range like AK, A2, K2, 22. I don't like b/c because it might push out the BTN and tbh I'm not close to folding to a raise from UTG.
