Villain in this hand is converging on "fish". 50/4 in 28 hands. Hasn't shown many aggro post-flop tendencies.

I instinctively 3-bet this hand, though I'm not sure if it's right. Thoughts?

Dont spew, your hand is far from great. I also wouldn't play flop like that. What are you hoping to accomplish by betting? If its to jam multiway, then you forgot to jam. But more likely you just isolate yourself into a flip .

The turn 3bet is giving too much action. I would probably not 3bet against any player type except for a maniac.
Against a typical 50/4 you probably have a lot less than 50 pecent equity given the action. Furthermore a great number of villains combos are capping hands which means that you need a much better hand than you have to 3bet.

I'm thinking that when a fishy player cold-calls two on the flop and then raises the turn, he can usually beat bottom two.

You sure do have a lot of potential outs, so if you're going to check/3-bet anything on the turn besides a straight, I guess that the hand you're holding is a good candidate. But the problem is that MP seems very likely to have a straight or set. The risk that UTG will fold and MP will 4-bet seems high.

That was my thought as well, and that 3-betting this hand might be overplaying it significantly. I should probably just be taking two to the face w/ this hand in this spot, even if it does turn my holding somewhat face up (I might have some good IO on a river 9 or 5, though).

Looking at the stats of your opponents, you pretty much don't have to worry about turning a holding face up ever.

This hand felt like massive spew at game speed. Glad I'm not going crazy.

Anyway, more hypothetical: I take two to the face instead on the turn. UTG calls. River blank, we...?

....call if river is a 7 or less. However against a 50/4 I knew well I could probably fold any river safely if I knew he never played AA and KK like an expert.

just call. couldn't fault the 3bet if you're multitabling though. not folding a blank river.
