Re: ***Official Stars Regs Thread***
She's better then most give her credit for imo
She prolly approaches the game different then most of us, due to her background I guess, but I don't think it's all that bad.
Backgammon doesn't pay all that much, and poker is more steady anyway. (I don't think there are a lot of BG cashgames) So I do believe it's her

yah she approaches it different than the rest of us since we try to approach it in a winning way
she approaches it in a "take 3 to the face in the SB with QTo" kinda way
(and yes I saw that happen)
then again, it doesn't matter how you approach it if you spend your spare time blowing bulgarian leprechauns and shoving horseshoes up your ass

Re: ***Official Stars Regs Thread***
People aren't actually defending that 54 hand from what I can tell. I think the flop call is fairly large mistake actually. The turn call is very thin actually at 3.5-1, but probably okay with implied odds. I have no idea if the river c/c from Paul is good, but I suspect not. I don't play much with her because I think she plays at different times, but if that hand is indicative of her play (as well as cold calling lots of pretty hands) then I would guess she's just on a big heater.
I'd like to know how her style is exploiting over aggressive tags. What exactly is she doing? Playing your marginal hands overaggressively may buy her some action on the top end of her range, but in the end I think it's going to cost her more if that's what she is doing.

Re: ***Official Stars Regs Thread***
Her style in a nutshell:
Preflop:
Openlimp ~ J9o-Q9o KTo K7s Q7s 22 54s kind of range utg, otb it's around T7o J6o Q5o K5o stuff like that, almost any 2 suited, so she is somewhat positionally aware with openlimping, also with openraising, but she doesn't openlimp based on table conditions only based on her cards, also she openlimps a ton on the button, no matter how the blinds are. She is raising around 20% and stealing around 30-35.
Postflop: Donk anything from BPTK+ - TPMK, any draw/combo draw. C/r TPTK+
Multiway, b3b monsters instead of cr.
On the turn, same strategy pretty much. Donk if you pick up a draw or second pair or something, c/r if you catch a monster. River is similar.

Re: ***Official Stars Regs Thread***
If you're read is that solid it's pretty funny. Her mistakes aren't very large though. She's mixing up her donking range, which is actually fairly difficult to play against. Most tags aren't going to notice the unbalance in her ranges though. Obviously, this isn't so great against anybody paying attention.

As far as overaggresive tags go I think the 4-5 hand is a good example. If your not peeling that flop against the likes of Bewe11, 2-Basic, callmefiish,et al. Your making a mistake, imo.

This hand would have never happened with 2_basic. He never limped, overlimped, or completed in the SB following a limper in his entire life.

Right. Obviously suboptimal, but against "TAGs" who think that anyone donking alot just plain sucks, it can be pretty effective.

I know for a fact that he asked stars support to deactivate his call button he can only raise or fold both pre and postflop but he doesn't like folding
