I didn't notice that I was mentioned a few pages ago until just now. I may play weird against you Dave but that's probably because the first few times I played against you I had you labeled as a spewtard but now I realize that you're generally solid and were probably on uber monkeytilt. Here's a couple of the gems I am referring to:

I wouldn't be surprised if SuitedKings1 got better, because he couldn't have been worse. Though according to him, I was/am the worst reg on stars and I just run insanely lucky...

hmm ****! I guess I joined the 8:30 PM qualifiert, which starts at 8:30 eastern time...

seems like I wont make SNE neither
07-31-2008 , 03:14 PM
I'm in the 830 as well.

Scary Tiger 10-20 minutes is a great result... there are only two better finishes imo (1-10 minutes and top 2).

Id play him HUHU and I dont play players Im not 90% confident I can beat significantly.

One hand in particular that struck me as bad was, me him and a super fish.

Fish limped UTG, I raised on the button, he 3-bet in SB, fish called

Board was 478 with two diamonds,
He bet, fish called, I raised, he called, fish called

Turn was J of diamonds
He checked, fish checked, I bet, he raised, fish called, I 3-bet, he called, fish called

River was blank
I bet and they both called

He had AJo. I had flush.

So either he thinks I play beyond terrible ,or he can never fold a hand.

Sure I may spew HU or attack if I think someones weak, but anyone in my spot with half a brain knows he's not bluffing, knows that fish wont fold and is still re-raising after 2 big semi bluff draws were completed? Pretty easy lay down.
are you kidding me....thisishui should change his name to thisisdonk!!! i heard from his friend...hes broke from playing 15/30 on stars and fulltilt.....like 20k worth....he is not good and he is terrible

Some regulars I've found lately. I'm not sure if any of them are from here:

HKornfeld - 1/2 Stars LAGTAG regular. I find him to be extremely spewy - something like 32/22/3.5. He's running well.

kidd_de - 1/2 Stars TAG regular. I'm pretty sure this guy has it in for me. He's pretty nitty, but loves to 3-bet me lightly and then never stops hitting bet/call. He berates in the chat often.

knaster222 is solid and consistently gives me trouble(although to an extent the trouble is self induced, for I get involved with him with hands that I should not given his proclivities and 24/17 range), my limited history at 5/10 with him is that he never misses. Most of my play with makimaki and kindwarrior has been at 3/6, both are highly exploitable(with the caveat that I have played kindwarrior very little as of the past few months).

knaster is very solid imho, kindwarrior is somewhat worse, but i dont exactly remember why, cause its been awhile since my last hands with him

thx guys

I "hate" knaster, he 3bets the **** out of me and always sucks me out with his dog-hand. he must owe me 100BB

makimaki and kindwarrior are a little bit weak preflop...like 30/19 or something like this,eh?
08-01-2008 , 04:17 PM
kindwarrior plays 10/20 alot, he is no g00t but prolly breaks even
08-01-2008 , 07:11 PM

Why do you guys think Knaster is good? He's way too aggro PF 3-betting and gives plays stationishly bad post flop, imo.

He does not appear to be too aggro with the 3betting against me. He has been running remarkably well against me in particular, for the short time I have played at 5/10 against him. The opposite was true at 3/6, poor guy could literally never win a hand when we played together for quite awhile. Perhaps having run so poorly at 3/6 against me he tightened up when I'm in a hand, don't know. He seems to read hands reasonably well and extracts value reasonably well. I would say however that it seems his late street play may be unimaginative/stationish(can't say confidently, again, he's running awesome presently but now that you inquire perhaps it is true that he does not often give me difficult decisions on the late streets) . I certainly am far from playing in mortal fear of him, 24/17's do not put the fear of God in me as a rule and he is no exception.

He's more aggro PF than that, unless he's retooled recently, 29/22.

Hmm, my impressions are from his 6.1k hands at 3/6 at 25/18. 1.4k hands at 5/10 at 25/18.6. I imagine you have played a great deal more with him, should the difference be that much? No biggie, guess I haven't played with him enough, but that is a significant difference, not being a stat guy I don't know how long it takes for pf stats to be accurate. I thought a couple thousand hands usually did it.
08-02-2008 , 06:26 AM
Knaster222 is 23/17 in the 1k hands I have on him on 5/10.

He is not very good in my opinion, and very easy to play against.
If you really think he is good it is probably a result of you running bad vs him more than anything else.
08-03-2008 , 12:14 PM
what do u guys think about lego_lightor? ( 5/10 + )
