it's pretty lame that they only have holdem and no lhe/nl distinction
I'm pretty sure I would have won the low stakes award otherwise but I can't compete with all those NL donks

I finally woke up in time for the SN freeroll. Probably a curse cuz I guess I'll pay for couple of donkaments to play along with it.

ah thx for reminding me, im planning to play the 30k and the 75k every weekend from now on but ill probably forget it like 9 out of 10 times

It's not a trifecta because you there was a call on the turn. You didn't get max value. This should be pretty obvious. It's a sexy I think.

btw, apart from Stox's basic poker U vids on MTT, can anyone recommend some basic MTT vids for noobs? I don't want to get too much into it, posting in the mtt forums etc, but I wanna have some decent understanding about how I can get the most value out of the sn freerolls.
If I ever manage to ship one it would have a big effect on my roll being a busto stakes grinder.

It's a legit trifecta because capping the turn w/AA in that hand is awful. And it's definitively not a sexy because the definition of a sexy is a check/raise after giving up the initiative.

Put a lot of pressure on the blinds and LP openers when you're near the bubble. Don't be afraid to get it in.

It doesn't matter if it's awful or whatever strategery wise, it still isn't actually a trifecta. This is explained in the link that was posted. That's part of what makes a trifecta such a rare and desirable animal for your collection. The conditions have to be just right for it.

You mean in that post where Wolfram just made up the qualifications for a trifecta? Trifecta means that you check/raised three streets. Period. Almost every trifecta involves making a mistake on some street, so basically none of them should count. The good news is that TR gives out badges for any sort of trifecta, so people will be doing all sorts of stupid plays dropping value all over the place.

The only time I've ever c/r x3 was as a bluff in PLO, and my opponent threw his cards at me.
