Re: ***Official Stars Regs Thread***

So, we need to be actually Supernova to have rakeback as high as FT's? BTW, how to have this rakeback on stars? Bonuses?

I lose about 25% at 1/2, about 9% at 2/4 and about 4% at 3/6 (although my sample size on that one is small so I'm not sure). This is if my calculations are correct. I'll have to play some hands to confirm.

that's not funny at all I thought I'm supposed to be happy about this, now you're telling me I'm not? I suck at math and vip stuff calculations so I'd be glad if someone had some reliable info about this, I'm starting to be confused.

Re: ***Official Stars Regs Thread***

wait, this was supposed to be positive for 6max nl by a large margin all the way down to 2-4,(if i read one of the posts in that thread correctly) But they are stepping on all the FL grinders all the way up to 3-6?

I've been hoping for a change in the fr-6max-hu vpp balance, but this is just ridiculous.

Seems like they especially enjoy crushing microstake players rakeback, it's almost non existent from the get go, and then they go ahead and curbstomp it?

Play 1K hands and figure out your VPP rate. That's the only way to know how it will affect you because it will depend on how you play. 3/6 might be about the same for a lot of players, but LAGgy players may make a bit less.

+1

If someone could break this down definitively for the Small Stakes Shorthanded games like 2-4 to 5-10 that would be great.

Let's just start posting our VPP/hand in here after 1K+ hand samples.

Or just look in HEM under Stars VPP/hand. The new system is not in effect yet.

Okay, then as a point of reference I make:

0.43/hand at 1/2
0.57/hand at 2/4
0.82/hand at 3/6

We'll see how that changes after the new system is implemented.

These are mine before the change:

2/4 0.58

3/6 0.83

5/10 1.21

Re: ***Official Stars Regs Thread***

Those numbers look really high, probably from playing Laggy. You rakeback will probably be comparable to FT after the changes, provided that you maintain your SN. But the difference in table selection probably makes staying on Stars +EV, anyway.

Lagtaggy I guess, definitely laggy post flop, and showdown bound (31/24/55 WTSD of 44%).

Thanks for the input GiantBuddha.
