thx.

I went out with Ad4d on the btn. BB called my open with K2o and went all in on QdJdTc flop. I called and he hit an A to beat me. think i finished 11th or something.

And then no-one understands why i tilt.

Yes. What is your plan postflop with your pot sized bet? Push with your massive RIO? Check and induce with your weak ace high giving free cards to whatever? And don't forget about antes and ICM. You are also inducing light resteals which you don't want near all the payjumps.

Well, I should've posted the whole hand I guess. I had a medium stack (~20BB) and BB had a big stack (~30BB). Folded to me in btn and i raised 3 BB. he called and open-shoved the flop.

So if the idea is that I should open - shove a hand no-one will ever call with worse well I can't agree with that.

No, that's my 0.5/1 graph for this year.

With 20BB raising 3 or less is fine, didn't realize he overshoved the flop. It depends on a lot on your opponents, but in a 12x180 you can 2.5x here all day and fold to shoves, since most people in them don't resteal enough.

There are plenty of times though when you should shove any two with <15BB in these, since some people call way too tight. Doesn't matter if they never call worse.

Don't ask me questions like that! Because I don't know the answer. Prolly some gut thing.

Re: ***Official Stars Regs Thread***

More likely it was because you had a strong hand you didn't want to play postflop with

Why would i fold 12 outs to a shove? His range is polarized b/w monsters and (usually worse) draws.

or are you just talking about pf?

Re: ***Official Stars Regs Thread***

I meant fold to a shove preflop. If people are restealing optimally, I'm not sure that you can profitably raise-call or raise-fold A4dd. You'd probably have to raise-call, but that sucks from an icm perspective.
