He's done that every hand against me since before he even knew who I was and does it to damn near every player he meets. Abso is just a maniac in a more general sort of way. I've tried to talk to him about it, but he insists that he is only beginning to spew and I have seen nothing yet. It is sort of hard to argue with that logic

I guess. Sometimes I spew, but who doesn't? Sometimes I tilt, sometimes I try something that ends up too fancy, sometimes I read the hand incorrectly and sometimes I just run into the wrong part of someones range. I'm definitely more likely than some to induce bluffs/resteal/rebluff, but I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing and frankly the results back it up. I've played about 10 hands with Sethy and probably spewed a lot of them (this was probably a year ago too) so he has a biased opinion of my play. Also, a lot of the hands against Sethy were of the type where we'd be at a table with 4 fish, but I'd be to his left. So, I assumed he was iso-raising a ton since he's a good player, so I ended up 3-betting a very wide range (too wide) and never made any hands and/or spewed post. I'll fully admit I played FPS for that brief 3/6 shot like 10 months ago though and probably overadjusted. 99% of the time I just play solid poker as best I can.

lol slimfast is pretty funny. he doesnt understand that hand strength is only relative, and will jam pretty much any draw when he clearly has no fold equity. he also likes c/r-brling pretty much every single hand with the same lack of fold equty

You know, I sometimes go through those periods, the main thing is you have to play your A+ game as if you had been when you even out and get your roll up for the session.
I try not to spew to much in the beginning, but sometimes when i start my session, i'm up 20-60BB which is great and it evens out a lot if I play longer..lol Kinda the opposite..damn the variance!!!!

Maybe it means I'm a pussy, but if I start a session up 60 bb, that's often the end of the session...

i used to do the "im up 50 bets lol quittin time" and "im down 50 bets im not leaving till im even" thing far too long. now i just use my hud stats to cover my stack and have auto rebuys on for when i drop below 20 bets
