Prob not because of the rake but its better "learning" a new style at 1/2 then when you move up so **** it and go for it.

i was playing 90/50 in a 2NL game last night pretty succesfully

Not sure what you're getting at? I was saying if he's experimenting playing 30/20 when he's been playing 25/17 better off starting off at the lower limits then learning it at a higher level.
