Sometimes you get a walk in the BB.

Which is like 3BB/hour live w/automatic shuffler.

Why is there 25NL in there? And if you're gonna post 6BB/100, post position stats so we can see if you're beating the small blind.

Steal more, too, imo.

ya pretty damn solid brag and just more evidence that various styles can win big at small stakes.
11-10-2008 , 02:37 AM
A question: what does it take to be more profitable at small stakes at 30% Folded BB to Steal than at, say, 50%. It seems that I have this habit of over-defending my blinds which I guess is carried over from HUHU, but I'm not sure how costly this habit is.

My volume is so low that any sort of empirical analysis is practically impossible.

guess I have to post a few on my graph just for LC
11-10-2008 , 12:28 PM
I only have a 240k graph or so. The rest is in my old db
11-10-2008 , 01:35 PM
I curious anyhow. Just wanna see how little swings you can have if you play as good as the mighty piggy.

my charts looks like those charts you get, than a volcano errupted

One thing though. There's a bit of a flaw in a way at least PT2 calculated std dev and I think it had something to with the length of your sessions and I understand that you in particular play pretty long sessions. I don't know which that should skew the std dev, but you can get a more accurate number pretty easily by exporting the result of every single hand in the Reports tab in PT3 and importing that to Excel/OpenOffice. They both have a STDDEV() (or similar) function that calculates it accurately. Maybe you could try that out too?
I have SD of 16,6BB/100 for my last 25k hands.
Would be interesting to compare SD for different playing styles.

stats from current DB / last 25k hands:
average hour/session: 0,73hr
Average winrate: 2,08BB/100
VPIP: 30
PFR: 22
WTSD/W$SD: 40,4/53
Total AF without PF: 1,8
ATSB: 46

haha that's not me. it's this guy http://archives1.twoplustwo.com/show...=all&vc=1&nt=6

don't think i've ever seen a documented 6bb/100 in limit over 100k 'cept for this guy. i wonder what he plays now.
11-10-2008 , 07:52 PM
Ah ok.

I think DD once posted a ss of his Paradise Poker days. Sickest graph I have ever seen. But that graph in the link is even cooler tho its obv at micros - I think DD's was at 30, 50 and 100 and it was basically a 3BB/100 brag over 200k hands or so.

Measured in BB I wonder exactly how much the games have deterioated the last 2 years

Since I got back from Europe, I have been spewing alot. I mostly play on Carbon Poker so I don't have my stats from there cause there's no way to import them. So there's my stats from a +20k hands which is my worst downswing ever. Seems like I can't win anymore and it gets under my skin. So, there's my stats.

Position stats :

This is all from 5-10 and 10-20.

Thanks for the help/support.

I ran a batch of 5000 sims for a player with 2bb/100 winrate and 20bb/100 stdev over 400k hands

77% of them had at least one 300bb downswing

so I guess oink is just a luckbox, not an extreme luckbox

kinda surprising though, I thought it would be like 100%
11-11-2008 , 05:42 PM
I have lurked around the threads for months now, but I have never posted anything. I was just wondering if anyone could analyze my stats and let me know what they think. I just started keeping track of my stats so the sample isn't that big, but I'm sure you can tell something from it. I basically am trying to find out if I am just in a downswing or if there are major things I need to change to get back on track. Any help is appreciated. Also I'm not sure if there are any other stats I need to post for help, like I said I'm just getting the hang of pokertracker and stats. Thanks
