Yeah, I play about 2k hands a day. Only 5/T when the games are good though. Hopefully this rake reduction will spice up the action there.

Just realized another reason 37-38 WTSD can work at smaller stakes is the lack of balance in most regs' games. You have to call down 5/T players a lot more I'd imagine.

Yeah, that's the area of my game where I play the most exploitably. Usually by choice.

Re: ***** Official SSSHLHE Stats Thread *****

Hey all, Long time reader but new to posting.

Been playing in all the 3/6 and 5/10 games since the start of February on my first SNE chase.

I'm down ~4k in 15k hands. Had two NL grinding friends look at my HEM and other than a couple things, general feedback from them reinstates my mindset that I've been playing well.

Is there anyone interested in taking a look at my HEM/discussing the game?

I'll gladly pay someone for their time.

Just trying to determine if I'm terrible or not/underestimated the variance of LHE!

Looking forward to playing with many of you

Nick

Being down 4k doesn't say anything, that will happen several times in your SNE pursuit.
However asking NL-grinders for advice on how to beat 3-6 & 5T makes me doubt your game.
PM me if you want me to take a look at your stats.

Re: ***** Official SSSHLHE Stats Thread *****

only about 600BB downswing then? that's fine for 3/6 and 5/10 http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...4&postcount=52

and +1 to why are you asking NL players, the HEM stats are totally different, you might have 30 WTSD and 75 flop cbet and have your NL friends telling you yep that looks fine

Re: ***** Official SSSHLHE Stats Thread *****

Losing 600BB is problematic esp if it's in the first 15k hands you play. If you have a long history of winning, it's likely to be a blip. Without such a history, it's evidence of significant leaks.

You need to open more hands from the earlier positions assuming this is filtered for 3-6 handed. You could also check a few more hands on the turn and fold some more hands to a flop c-bet.

Re: ***** Official SSSHLHE Stats Thread *****

sinsadir, it looks pretty strong to me. A couple of things that strike me as suboptimal are that it seems to me u cbet too much (especially turn) and c/r (flop+turn) too little.

Not sure what kind of blind structure this is but I think it wouldnt hurt to loosen up a little in the blinds as well.

This is all minor stuff tho so if u are having troubles i suggest u look more at how u actually play certain hands postflop.
