haha, yeah.
You still got the truck?
The hand that got me was pretty nasty. Game is 500/1000 isk NL 5 handed (roughly $4/$8) and insanely deep. Two guys have over 1k big blinds. I'm sitting on 290bb (started with 200).
I open QQ and get called by a very laggy guy in position. He thinks i'm a huge nit and will try to bluff me very frequently. He's your typical rich laggy live player. Plays way to many hands pre, loves to straddle, loves to make hero plays, but has a bit of sense for poker. Fundamentals are terrible though. One blind calls too.
3 players to the flop and it comes J

8

. I bet 10bb into the 13bb pot and villain flats in pos while the blind folds.
Turn 5

(I'm not 100% on the suit but it wasn't a spade).
I bet 25bb, he pauses then goes for a raise. I really think he's on a semibluff or air here because of his tendencies and also because i have a tiny bit of physical read to back that feeling up. He's capable of floating me and then raising turn with air. And he's extremely flop peel happy so he can have a very wide range of hands.
He makes it 75bb. I consider all 3 options but decide to flat and then c/c most rivers and c/r a T. I don't know if it's the best play or not. Shoving is def an option but I think he's going to fold most of the time so it would be purely for protection. He won't call me with worse. At best he'll call with a combo draw, but I do block a lot of outs for straightdraws so it might be the best play.
The river is the 6

. I check and he snap-shoves (he covers me). I pause for a while, then decide he can easily have Tx or missed spades/clubs and I need to stick to my plan. In hindsight I should probably only fold on a 7 or Q, although folding top set will be very difficult. It's a big bet, about 110% of the pot. I think he bets 2pairs and sets smaller or not at all so it's a pretty polarized bet.
I call and he tables the 72o.
They were playing 72 bonus btw. If you win a hand with 72 (bluff or showdown) you get 2bb from each opponent.
