I got hammered pretty hard on one of my best friend's wedding about a month ago and had a ~half an hour period where I don't remember absolutely anything at all and I heard from multiple sources (when I heard it the first time I thought they were just kidding) that I started hitting on some chick who was the gf of a friend of the bride's brother.. I was told that I was doing pretty well until her boyfriend noticed it, and I almost got into a fight.. I remember zero percent of this. At least when they showed me the chick in a photo I was relieved that she was fairly hot and not some whale. Alcohol is evil.

Haha yeah, I played Milisits a bunch of years ago. He beat me, iirc. And then I saw him at the WSOP maybe two years ago, we chatted a bit.

Edit: After some research I see that we played at the scholastic nationals way back in 2003. He did, in fact, beat me. He was always better than I, although I wouldn't really call him a "top player". Top 30ish in the US for his age, probably, but the gap was pretty large between guys like us and the actual elite. I looked up his poker screen name, and learned that we also played a bunch of NL at Bodog way back in the day. I remember an epic 10/20nl 3 handed session with him and a pro in probably like 2006 when I was playing with like a 4bi roll.

All of my buddies from those days stopped playing tournament chess, and all of them are really successful either academically or professionally. I'm the only one that still plays chess and I'm the only one that's a jobless college dropout

I don't think it's fair that jdalla and V. Selbst get to play the event , these 2 men have a huge edge over this soft ladies field
