I concur, and I imagine it's only worse now, which means 5/10 would be virtually unbeatable.

Haven't railed too much 5/10, but games still look pretty sweet to me, at 10/20+ most of the fish still play pretty often. They don't run as much, but it still looks like you can get 4 5/10+ games at any moment. Here's where people say "oh but the regs are better", which might be true, but I still think it's eminently beatable, and will be able to confirm/deny this soon because I gotta make moves before going busto.

I agree. This is where I sound like a ginormous douche, but there are more regs, but the overall caliber of your average reg hasn't really improved much. There seem to be A LOT more mass table grinders who seem to play virtually 24/7 so I think it gives a distorted view of the games. Also, I think most people would rather whine about the games than adapt and improve. We are poker players afterall and inherently lazy.
