I hate travelling for a couple reasons. I can't stand being cooped up in a plane. I go stir crazy after about an hour. The other reason is I can't stand going somewhere unless it's to do something. I am the worst tourist on earth. Just looking at something doesn't cut it, there has to be something to do. Other than family vacations as a kid, and going to Vegas I haven't been much anywhere. I wouldn't drive 5 miles to see Yosemite.

Nah, my only California experience is going to and from Commerce. Which is kinda depressing now that I think about it. I want it to be somewhere kinda cold but not too cold so I can get a nice break from the sweltering armpit that is central TX. But tbh, I am much more likely to do a road race. Hiking takes requires excessive baggage and planning.

lol thanks maybe my written english can be ok on a good day but my spoken english sucks real hard, especially my pronunciation. i don't know jack**** about english punctuation, my secondary school teacher (from whom i learnt probably 90% of my english grammar) said that it's so complicated and confusing that she wouldn't even attempt to teach it to us.

Oh great daiq, I have been there with a bachelor party. We wanted to Amsterdam first, but because we live in the Netherlands we had this great idea.
We told the bachelor we where going skydiving, instead 8 of his best friends where at the Airport waiting with suitcases. I have never been so drunk for so little money, also great place and I was surprised how tiny the woman are in comparison with dutch girls. Here they are just so big. Hahah, maybe to much beer.

I was fun to watch the Dutch girls in Aruba, most of them where students.
But at a party they all throw their hand bags in the middle and dance around it,
like Indians around a totem pole. They called it salsa, that was the funny part. Next to them there where a bunch of girls from Venezuela, Colombia on high heels short skirts (no underwear and I think more then 50% had fake breasts..side info) and they where dancing the salsa, merengue and batchata like if it was their last dance, so hot omg.

English punctuation is extremely similar to Romace languages and other Germanic languages. I'm not sure why she thinks it is so difficult. You mainly juust need to capitalize the first letter of each new sentence. The other thing you do that is kinda weird is that you never put spaces between paragraphs. When you finish one thought and move on to the next one, do this:

blah, blah, blah

blah, blah, blah

blah, blah, blah

Walls of text are hard to read. Capitalizing the first letter of each sentence and putting spaces between paragraphs make longer posts way, way easier to read for native speakers. When you don't, it creates the impression that you are hammering away at your keyboard and kinda pissed off or spazzy. Using commas correctly is less important... most native speakers **** this up constantly.

But you're great at the hard stuff (vocabulary, clearly expressing yourself, conjugating verbs, etc.)

You sometimes seem to have trouble telling that Elo is joking and get mad at him, but that is like 90% of the forum and I doubt it has anything to do with English skills.

Right around the corner of my place there is a great sandwich/gelato place that I used to go to once every 2 weeks. There was this Italian girl I noticed that worked there on Thursdays, so I would come then.

The 2nd time I went in there she asked if I wanted a sample of gelato while I was ordering a salad. I said no because I'm already reached my maximum thickness to keep myself warm for the winter. If you engage a girl: a) she remembers you and b) is receptive, you might have a shot.

I think this is a pretty big factor actually. More confidence and being just more relaxed in general will usually be a good thing in these situations.
