They not only had it running, the wait list was so long I never got to play. Had to stick with 8/16.

Re: ***Official Merge Network Regs thread***

Tried the other deposit options with no luck. I saw the WU thing but am a bit reluctant since they have raped me on fees for various transactions in the past. I am in the "deposit $100 - see what I can do with it at 25c/50c" camp. For some reason the doomswitch was hit on my live game following the shutdown and I am fiending for some online poker. I guess I'll give the WU thing a go in a couple days on merge if I can't figure out how to get $ on cake.

If you already signed up then its probably too late. Depends on the site. I know FT was very strict on this matter and I don't know of anybody getting rb after they had already signed up w/o an affiliate but at UB i was able to get rb after I signed and played for about a year. I would check with an affiliate if u can still get rb. Fwiw Raketherake was the one able to get me the UB rb after I had signed up so you should email them to see if they can still do that for you. Its worth a shot.

From what I can gather their VIP system is a joke. The only way to reach the top tier and achieve this 65% rakeback that people are talking about is to multitable grind 10/20 or higher for many hours a week, which of course is impossible with the current game selection situation.

Maybe I'm missing something.

No, if you havent deposited yet it shouldnt be too late. Just pick one of the rakeback affiliates (rakefreeze, raketherake, rakebrain, etc) and sign up. They'll give you instructions on what to do.

If this is true then their rake is double that of poker stars according to PTR http://www.pokertableratings.com/pok...imit-hold%27em.

Take .50/1 for example. Their rake per 100 hands about $2 more. Thats 2BB/100 less than what your win rate at stars would be! In this day in age of online poker 2BB/100 is a good win rate, so unless you were beating it for well over that at stars you can forget about it at merge.

You'd basically be playing for rake back only.

lol It's 7BB/100 at .5/1 and 1/2. Unless you're getting like 80% rakeback, good luck.

Not sure. All I can go by is my small sample according to HEM and it seems to be working out to about the same as Stars after I account for my RB. With that said, they realy should shift to the same structure as everyone else and rake pots in $1 increments. I posted this in the RPM suggestion thread.
