That's correct about HU/super short handed. Plus, these numbers are from last year, so it's possible the rake has changed.

Anything is possible in this environment. I think the statement "X poker site" may drop US players always has to be on the table as a possibility.

With that said, I wouldn't react to rumors. So far they have said they aren't going anywhere.

Can someone who has been playing recently tell me how many micro stake(.25-.5 and below) games are going?

Any one know which two? Spoke with RPMSeth but he said he could only speak for RPM and was not aware of any service change.

They are extremely fishy.

There aren't that many of them, and at times you will have to play 6-max instead of full ring.

I'm starting to realize how oppressive the rake is. You get some of it back through rakeback but it's 40 cents a hand at 50c/1 and 20 cents a hand at 25c/50c, which is twice as much as Stars averaged. Minus the 35 percent you get back in rakeback, it's 26 and 13 versus 20 and 10 at Stars. 6 cents a hand at 50c/1 is $6 per 100 hands, or 6BB/100.

I'm not sure that the micro stakes limit games on Merge are beatable long term.

I figured the games were fishy and I play 6max and don't mind starting tables.

What's the minimum deposit and what's the smallest stakes offered on Merge?

Re: ***Official Merge Network Regs thread***

small player pool and height of rake makes this look not worth it imo. I'd rather take my chances shot taking live.

Re: ***Official Merge Network Regs thread***

Yea, the rake is atrocious. I wrote to feedback/suggestions on Carbon expressing this, pretty much just saying that if they are interested in higher fix limit traffic they need to implement same rake structure as stars. So far they've been receptive to player suggestions, it would help if more players would let them know that they will not deposit with the current rake. If they do change the rake structure, after playing on the site for 10days, I'd say it's not a bad option to have.
