Re: ***Official Merge Network Regs thread***

I've probably played about 30k hands on Merge this month, there's a reasonable amount of action I think. Being willing to play O8 stud8 and triple draw, as well as being willing to play people sitting waiting to start a game has helped a lot. The cashout situation is definitely a bummer though.

Re: ***Official Merge Network Regs thread***

The primary issue with Merge is the limit rake structure. RPM customer support is outstanding. Checks take 4-8 weeks which sucks, but you can always sell at 90% if you need immediate cash. Western Union is starting to show up as an option if you deposit via that method (I dont get it unfortunately and don't need to deposit so I won't be establishing it any time soon).

Is this where we brag about being a winner before the rake?

Also, I have PT3 and it can't read Metge HH. Tips? Or suck it up and upgrade to PT4?

Re: ***Official Merge Network Regs thread***

pt3 not working with merge doesn't seem right. do you have the checkbox clicked on merge to save the HHs? it's in the lobby in one of the dropdown menu options, hand history, and the dropdown menu also should be set to 'forever.' do you have most recent version of merge software and pt3?

the rake is quite high at 3/6 and lower, compared to other sites' (past and present) rake for same games. there's a campaign on to get the rake lowered (see this forum as well as internet poker forum) which supposedly is near fruition but hasn't happened yet

I downloaded both in the past 3 weeks. Hand histories are being saved but in .xml format and PT3 can't read them.

PT3 works with Merge XML files....something seems wrong. BBB already answered on rake issue

Do you have the most recent version or a beta version?

I just switched to PT4 about a month ago. I was using PT3 before that and Merge was working fine. The version of PT3 I was using was 3.13.9 beta.
