***Official Merge Network Regs thread*** - Small Stakes Shorthanded Poker

Seems like Merge is the early favorite to be getting a ton of traffic from us freedom starved Americans. The LHE games are basically all 6 Max at this point so I'm going to start a regs thread for Merge in here.

Been playing .5/1 6 Max and getting my clock cleaned due to some horrible run bad. The players are attrocious so I am keeping my chin up and fighting through it.

I primarily played FR 3/6 and 2/4 on Tilt and Stars pre Black Friday so I am using this time period to drop down and work on my shorthanded play while I wait for my funds to clear on the big sites. Not looking to make a depo before then if I can help it but being down 150 BB or so may force my hand if it doesn't turn around soon.

A reminder of the specific rules for these regs threads:

1. There will be no linking 2+2 screen names/real names to poker site screen names with out permission.

2. While discussing the play of certain players is ok, abuse is not. There should nothing derogatory at all linked to certain screen names. This includes "idiot" "moron" ect. Keep it to factual analysis of how the person plays and what adjustments you think should be made.

Are merge skins actually processing US deposits? I know they accept US players if you already have money on there, but what about eChecks/CC's/eWallets? The biggest problem for us is actually getting out transactions approved.

Jump over to Internet poker forum for a ton of detail on deposit options. main choices are Western Union, UseMyWallet and some success has been reported with gift cards. They are definitely accepting US customers and are growing off the charts since Black Friday. There is a dedicated sub forum on 2p2 for Carbon Poker which is one of the more popular skins. Carbon is the other popular one.

I think it hit 10k in the last few days and has been steadily rising day over day. Customer service has been good but is a bit overwhelmed with this unexpected growth.

As if any serious 2p2 player wasn't going to find out where everyone is playing now? By that logic why would you ever post a hand history for discussion?

I made my first deposit there the Monday after black Friday. Been playing 1/2 to 3/6. There are usually 1 or 2 non bbj going at each of those limits going during US hours. Can't really tell you about the traffic during off hours. So far the fishes seem like FT fishes where they have passive stats but will spew if you keep the pressure on them. I don't know if its the rake or I'm just running really bad but I'm off to a pretty bad start.
