No new money coming in = find a way to keep existing money from going out and hope it tides you over until new money starts coming in again, pure and simple. Losing sleep is definitely in order here, as is grinding of teeth and pulling of [own] hair...all of which might be temporarily mitigated by occasional abuse of adult beverages.

Life Lesson: All of us "Poker Pros" should be adequately rolled at multiple sites and should depend on TABLE WINNINGS to make our living, not benefits (new concept, I know, I know). i agree it's been a rough two weeks, but, this merger is going to happen soon, and that at least should bring more traffic.

it might just bring more tags over, but, at least there will be more tables.

and, this stuff has gone in cycles, and I hope that people start putting money into the site.

also, I've seen AP advertising alot more on tv and on the radio in the last half a year than ever before.

so, if it gets easier to deposit, plus the merger, plus, maybe we can finally get some asian foreign markets going.

People have talked about the pontential in Asia for years. I know nothing about the asian gambling market but it feels like we maybe should stop hoping for the poker boom if it's not here by now?

I just googled "Absolute Poker". Four out of the top ten links are about cheating at AP. A fifth link is the wiki article on Tokwiro Enterprises which is about 80% devoted to cheating at AP and UB.

Good luck getting new players.

What? I'm an unreliable source all of a sudden? Ha! But ya, we've been hearing for months that it is going to happen on x date...and we have yet to see it.

As for the games...damn, I was up until 6:30 this morning because I couldn't leave my great tables, and finally I just went to bed even though the fish were still throwing their money at me. There have been several nice, big, NEW fish at AP mid limits lately, what's with all the panic?

this isn't really that bad. The kind of information in poker vids is so easy to misapply and you have to take the time to actually watch them. There are so many bad tags in the 1/2NL games on ftp and you can just tell that they've watched a ton of CR vids and they still just don't get it.

If you post your bb and then post your sb, but you time out in the sb, you either have to post on the button or wait until your bb. this makes no sense at all.

Also if you start a 3 handed game in the sb then the very next hand you have to either post your bb on the button or wait until you get the bb.

wtf ap?

This is like when they didn't know what beat what in razz, except it's been going on for years and it's hold em and they should know better.
